I just got it this week and it's been an absolute powerhouse controller and would absolutely recommend this if you don't already have one the expandable phone holder is legit your phones not going nowhere once it's in there the only thing that bummed me out was when taking my phone out of it the device slammed closed real fast and my phone knocked the left joystick out of place so now my left joystick comes off but even still it works great I just wish it was easier to open and close For inserting and removing your device so that doesn't happen
I've been using this controller for about 6 months with my Galaxy Z Fold 2 and I've had no major complaints. Be warned the triggers to take some getting used to as they feel a tad spongy at first, but wear in after use. I don't have a case on my phone, so I can't test if that alters the grip, but the phone feels solid in the controller. The biggest downside is the price, there are many cheaper alternatives, however none of the cheaper version are bluetooth or have significantly worse latency. Having tried Xbox cloud streaming as well as a variety of emulators, I've not come across a single issue with compatibility.
Mine just came in today. After playing with for a few hours i can say i honestly like it. The feel of it is way more premium than most controllers. It's advertised as fitting phones up to 6.7 inches but my s21 ultra is 6.8 and it fits no problem cause it has a little extra room.
Great controller... Connects right away buttons feel good plays flawlessly for me. Definitely recommend it!
It's a great controller for mobile gaming. The buttons feel really nice, dpad is okay I wouldn't use for platformers. But my BIG issue is the triggers. It is extremely hard to press triggers down all the way for my racing games. I've tried wearing it down with little success. Please fix the triggers!!!! Otherwise it is a fantastic premium feeling controller.
It's a good solid mobile phone controller. Works very good with the Fold 3. I play shooters and found the back 2 rb and lb buttons are not great for it.
Works exactly as advertised! Comfortable to hold, easy to sync up. Only have one slight issue where I have to re-pair it every time I turn it on which is kind of annoying.
Thumb sticks are great but not much travel when playing, L2 and R2 triggers are too stiff and no click when pressed also there is no half press and full press for L2-R2 buttons. other than that the controller seems great
Lots of connection problems on Galaxy Z Fold 2. Constantly freezes up and is basically unusable. Tested phone with Xbox One X controller and DualShock 4 with no problems. Triggers have a very stiff spring and no solid feel when pressed fully. It's very difficult to know where you are going from 0-100% press. Telescopic grip is very tight. Had my phone pop out and my finger got pinched. This works better without a case. Overall, I think the controller looks good on paper but when you actually get it in hand, you realize it could've been done a lot better.
I would update my review if I receive a replacement unit and it functions as it should. Right now the connection issues for the Bluetooth are so bad that the controller is basically non functional.
