So quick and easy to use. I verified with my ear temperature device and the infrared device gives the same readings.
I have been looking for a good quality no contact thermometer to use at home and the RightCare No Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer worked out perfectly!! This thermometer comes with 2 AA batteries, is accurate, and made of high quality plastic. I love the look of this thermometer. It looks like a professional device used at a doctor's office. I like how the LCD screen is big enough so I can read results easily. I also like how there are 3 different modes that allows me to select body, room, or surface temperature. It is very easy to use and gives fast results. In addition, I like that the color display alerts when a fever is detected. Love it! Works well! Very satisfied!!
I already had such one, but the grandpa needed it every day to use. So I got another one for the rest of family in case we don't feel well and need to take the body temperatures. The measurement just takes a second and we get what we need to know. So happy to have it!
This is perfect to carry in my purse! Comes with a plastic case, the numbers are small for an older person such as myself but if I put my glasses on I can see it! Price is right! It's accurate and dependable. I'm sure I will use it for a while due to the Covid situation. Thank you!
This thermometer works really well. You just point at the forehead and hit the “trigger” button. Quick results, pretty much instant. This is a great option for anyone needing to take temps without having to touch or get too close to someone who may be infectious.
This thermometer is very easy to use and seems to be pretty accurate (although we have only used it on healthy people so far to test it out and make sure it works). The display is easy to read and lights up brightly so you can see it well. I'm glad that I have this so that I can use it both at home and when I volunteer.
This thermometer seems to be top of the line and of the best quality. It is is so convenient to use and very accurate. It is super easy to use. It is something that is wonderful to have on hand during this time especially with the Covid still around and the flu season approaching. It is handy to have at any time you need to take your temperature in a hurry. This is a great item to have in the house. Highly recommend to anyone.
My work implemented the use of this no touch thermometer once COVID hit. Every morning every single employee came through my department and had their temperature checked, so I've gotten to use this product quite a bit. We noticed that if you take temperatures immediately one after the other they are almost identical readings. This was because we were not using it properly at the beginning. You are supposed to give it a small break in between readings. Once we followed the directions properly it was more diverse with temperatures. The device has an audible beep alarm when it finishes the reading and was typically a very instantaneous read out. I would say it takes less than a second to get a result. The temperature is also very accurate. As you can see all my thermometers are within 0.2 degrees of each other. This device is amazing compared to the old oral thermometers. Not only do you not need to change tips in-between people, but the reading is also 20× faster. My old thermometers take about 20 seconds to give you a reading. I'm also a fan of the color change feature on this product. If someone has a fever the read out screen turns red. This was a good visual for us that an employee had a fever. I'd definitely recommend this thermometer for employers that are temperature checking right now during COVID, or just for general home readings.
The RightCare No-Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer with Instant Results for School, Home, and Business is sturdy but lightweight. This thermometer is Quality Control tested (see sticker). Fast within 5 seconds. Accurate within +0.2F. It is recommended only for use directed at forehead and not any other part of the body for best results. It is adjustable for Fahrenheit or celsius and the alarm can be turned off. The alarm is set to sound at a temperature of 100.4. It also has an indicator for when the batteries are low. Interesting alternative uses include measuring the temperature for food and liquids. A refrigerated adult beverage registered a perfect 46.0 degrees Fahrenheit. RECOMMENDATION: RightCare No-Touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer with Instant Results is a recommended addition for anyone's first aid kit.
So first of all, because it's a thermo scan you need to give it like 15-20 minutes to adjust to the room temp around you before you can use it. Okay, no big deal. There are multiple modes for scanning (body, surface temp, room) and you select what you're scanning before the scan to make sure the reading is accurate for the type of scan. Now here's my complaint, it doesn't work 100% of the time. One temp (body) will read at 99.0° But when I follow up with my ear thermometer it put out 102.8° Which is a HUGE difference. So I'll make sure the thermometer is calibrated, make sure it's on body (which it was before) and scan again. And boom, this time around it'll read 102° or something a lot closer to the ear temp. And yes, while I know in-ear temping CAN read higher than forehead, it's never more than a half degree or so. Not nearly three whole degrees of variation. So yeah, it works. It's just not exactly accurate all of the time.
