This product is going to fulfill my need. I am relocating to Florida and need additional space to store items. I do not have a rack on the car top and the carrier has enough attachments for me to affectively secure the carrier to the car's top. For me, the product is excellent.

it arrived fast and is really nice, very thick material and it is put together very well. I have a 99 jeep which the site says it wont fit, but it did indeed fit and it held a lot of our stuff. I would definitely recommend

I chose it because of high ratings by others. Important to pack it as full as possible to assure it being watertight. I used it on my Lincoln MKX without roof rack. Clamps were secure and held tight. If you do not purchase the roof pad, I suggest you use waffle type shelf liner to prevent slippage. This is a great product for the money.

It works well. However i do wish the site had better explained that I would need to additionally order clips for my model ( as some models come with clips). The directions for attaching the straps to a vehicle without a rack are horrible. I attached them as close to what I thought the directions said and it took very long to detach them from the vehicle when i arrived to my destination, so for the trip back home I tried to follow the directions for setup once again and spent the entire ride home listening to a flapping noise and watching to make sure nothing flew off the top of the vehicle. This model seems to be the only model that doesn't have a youtube video to explain to mount it to a vehicle without a car rack.

Definitely need to make sure you can fill it full. Also need to use a small padlock or zip ties on the zippers so they don't blow open.

This carrier works great! gave it 4 stars because the attachment straps are not as pictured. They are nylon straps that go into plastic cinches on the top of the carrier. The nylon straps will slip out of the cinches. it happened on out first trip. I was able to knot the strap at the cinch and that took care of the problem. Also, the metal hooks for attaching the carrier are very small and don't attach to anything on our rack or door frame so that is also disappointing. I had to remove the hooks and loop the strap around the rack. I don't think the hooks would work to attach to a door frame if vehicle doesn' have a rack.

The container itself is well made and durable. Holds a decent amount of gear. Went through a couple rainstorms during the trip and everything inside was dry as a bone. My only criticism is the straps are pretty low quality. They didn't really secure it very well to begin with, and one of the clasps broke almost immediately. Had to use a ratcheting tie down to secure it, but other than that all good.

The bag did amazing all the way from Texas to Georgia but ripped very easily when we were removed it from the car, thankfully it was on the bottom and we were still able to use it for our journey to Indiana! No water got in when the zipper was properly closed and sealed!

Weak straps, they need to be thicker, bag moved even though it was as tight as I could get it, and with a none slip pad (not included)
