We were going weekend car camping with two adults, two teenage boys and a 55 lb dog. We decided to load up the small SUV with one adult, the tents, tarps, food, cooler and dog. The shade structure, pillows and sleeping bags went on the roof. The other adult followed with the boys and the car. It worked out great. Is this big enough for a family of 8? No, but for our needs it was really perfect. And a great price for the quality.
Very nice for extra luggage, allowing full passenger comfort.
For anyone with limited interior space & or budget, this storage bag is a game changer! The Ranger Jr Car Top Carrier not only holds a lot, it's also super easy to install! 5 stars, would buy again if/when needed!
