Rin-Daughter of Mnemosyne: Complete Series Vc [DVD]

I have watched this anime before and absolutely fell in love with it. The way in which each character is fleshed out and the manner in which the world is built is brilliant, some of the best I've seen in an anime. I also appreciate how it doesn't beat you over the head with pretentiousness but it does get across a very deep and meaningful point about people and society as a whole. The series does a lot of showing rather than telling, and while the casual watcher will get confused, it isn't exactly meant for the casual watcher. The first ten minutes will teach you that. Be warned, this anime is rated R, and had the start not been told the way it is, it would be rated somewhere along the lines of X material.

Changes the concept of having immortals walking around among us. It really gives you a feel for these peoples lives and how living forever is tragic for them. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the length is short.
