Rind is a great healthy on the go snack for my family. I love that they keep the peel on to optimize nutrients. The bag we got contained strawberries, pears, and apples. My kids were big fans of the dried strawberry and pear. I also prefer this chewy texture over the grainy texture. Would absolutely have this again!
If you like dehydrated fruits like strawberries then these are going to taste good to you. They are really good, I'm glad I tried them because I know these are always going to be added to my list. Chewy texture with the right amount of sweetness, I hope they have a nutritious benefit because I enjoy it a lot!
I feel like I am constantly looking for quick on the go healthy snacks for myself and my family. My kids ask me a million times a day for a snack and I refuse to toss them a bag of chips or crackers all the time. I came across these and decided we needed to give them a try! Myself and my kids enjoy these. Real fruit dried with a good taste and texture. My family will have these again for sure!
These are a DELICIOUS and CONVENIENT Snack! I was looking for a heathly snacking option, and had never tried freeze dried fruit before. OMG.....chunks of watermelon and coconut that have delicious, flavorful chunks and are full of vitamins and minerals. LOVE PRODUCTS that are just simple ingredients and it doesnt get simpler than just the fruit itself :)
I have the "Strawberry, Apple, Pear" flavor. So, I was expecting these to kind of look and taste and feel (in the mouth) almost like a fruit roll-up. This was definitely not the case. This will not look like a fruit roll-up. There are no added dyes or colors, which healthwise, is a good thing. But, these can look kind of brownish and frankly kind of unappealing. If you have a super picky eater that wants their fruit snacks neon-colored, these might not pass the test! This does not taste like a fruit roll-up. There is no added sugar or high fructose corn syrup, etc. Again, a good thing healthwise, but, if you are used to eating everything super over-sweetened, at first, these may seem kind of blandish. But they did seem to get better and sweeter and more flavorful after a few bites/pieces. They really do have a yummy, fruity flavor to them. Just don't have unrealistic expectations. Basically all the pieces tasted the same. I am unsure if there are supposed to be 3 separate types of pieces (one apple, one strawberry, and one pear?). To me, each piece mostly tasted like a combination of all 3. This definitely does not feel like a fruit roll-up. These are WAY thicker and chewier. (I would be somewhat hesitant to give these to young chewers. I definitely had to powerfully and forcefully bite and chew to both bite pieces off and then to chew the pieces up. If you took the time to cut up the pieces into uniform pieces, then maybe it would be safer for young kids.) The pieces are inconsistent in thickness and size. (Again, you may want to take the time to attempt to make the pieces uniform for your little ones, depending on age.) Overall, these are good-tasting. They are just kiiind of unattractive, and they have kiiind of an unexpected texture. But once you become accustomed to the brown and the chewiness, they are a tasty, and healthy!, snack.
This dried fruit is very unique. Having the skin on may have nutritional value but the taste isn't great. The texture is very chewy and flavor is not as sweet as some of other fried fruit I've tried. If you are looking for a healthier alternative give it a true and see for yourself.
These are pretty good if you like fruit with no added sugar. I like them. They're very chewy and soft. Everything has the peel attached so you get that natural fiber too. I do prefer other brands when it comes to dried fruit but this is good. Also- they don't add any colors or anything so everything in the bag is brown. It's normal and still tastes fine.
Were too chewy. I like more crunchy.
I purchased a three pack but only got two bags.
I'm big on texture and I'm not a fan of the texture of these. But their texture is not in their control because it's dried fruit. I think the texture is not to my liking because it's made with apple and I think it contains apple peel which I never usually eat when I eat apples. The taste is OK but nothing exciting. I'm sure that's because there are no added sugar which is fine.
