Works really well! Stood its ground against strong beach winds. Has a built in corkscrew at the bottom, to secure it in beach. Great umbrella!

Umbrella Tilt Broke on 2nd Use
The plastic tilt mechanism broke on second use. Can now only be used tilted. I bought a Rio beach umbrella 3-4 years ago, and the quality was drastically better. We still use the old umbrella and wanted another umbrella to provide extra shade for our growing family. The old Rio umbrella has strong rectangular supports under the fabric and the wind does not cause the supports to bend at all. Unfortunately, this new umbrella's supports are very similar to what is on a rain umbrella. Much cheaper quality. I do not recommend this product.
