This stand-alone closet was a little difficult for me to put together because I have Arthritis. If you have Arthritis, I would suggest getting someone else to put it together for you. Once it was put together, I realized that it was very structurally sound. This closet was well-designed, has a double zipper, and did not collapse under pressure. At the bottom, there's enough room for 4 large collapsible cubes.
For the price, this wardrobe is excellent! We bought it because we're expecting our first baby and we have no closet room. I love how it has plenty of room for hanging things but also has great storage on the bottom for shoes and blankets. I was worried it would be very flimsy but it really isn't. It takes some work to put it together because the poles all fit very snuggly but in the long run I think that's a good thing.
This could have been a better review, but the material is a poor quality this could have been a better review, but the material is a poor quality. For instance, the bars be very easily and the material rips very easily. For instance, the bars be very easily and the material rips very easily. The instructions are pathetic
Will have to purchase something else! This unit is disappointing.
Absolute garbage, complete waste of money. From the extremely flimsy "Steel pipes" to the insanely delicate fabric used to wrap this horrible closet. The fabric got shredded all the way around the closet just trying to get the thing around the frame and even following the instructions still bent a couple of the pipes and destroyed the fabric.
the aluminum poles are very flimsy and do not go into plastic connectors properly. if you apply pressure, the poles bend. I used a hammer to get them in and it still came out lopsided. while connecting pieces, I cut my hand because some pole ends are sharp. when attaching the hanging rods, the poles bent because they dont fit properly. the shelves are thin fabric so they can not hold much weight. they can support a stack of towels but not a filled laundry basket or bottle of laundry soap.
We only have had this built for about a month. It is so flimsy that it is now leaning over if the bed wasn't right next to it the thing would collaspe. The material is very cheap and rips easily.
Instructions were not clear had to look at the picture to put it together. Assembling was not easy. Cloth is super cheap and thin. Tore when putting it over the pipes.
For 36 bucks, I guess my expectations should’ve been a lot lower. It didn’t even last 2 months and basically just fell apart. And it was a pain in the but to put together. Would not recommend and returned it right back to Walmart.
The instructions were not clear at all!
