My awesome hubby bought me one about 5 years ago as a stocking stuffer/gag gift, it has taken a beating and it still works great! I loved mine so much, since we are now grandparents, we bought a blue one for our 9 week old grandson (and a pink one for our 12 week old granddaughter) and our Grandson absolutely LOVES it! He went mental as soon as he saw it and is completely hypnotized by it and lets out all sorts of loud sounds of happiness, that we've never heard him make before when the light colors change! It is so super soft! It takes 3 AA batts.. My old one only took 2 batteries and they would last for a few months. We hope they last as long in the newer pillows and that it lasts just as long. The velcro that closes the battery compartment up IS a bit hard to peel open, so the little ones should NOT be able to get inside and the batteries are inside of a little holder that is screwed shut by 1 small Phillips head screw. It is NOT made for pillow fights, someone could get a bump or lump from the internal parts, but it IS super soft and adorable and bright.

I bought you a birthday gift for my daughter as she is into STARZ planet everything that has to do with the solar system. She was very much surprised and very happy with it. She sleeps with it every night and the lights up so beautifully definitely recommend this.

I purchased two. Lisa for Christmas presents. They will stay in the original wrapper until the children open them Christmas day. They arrived in good shape so I'm assuming they should be fine. That kind of cute but as far as how it works no idea till Christmas

love the softness, color, lights. Bought it for my grandsons. I didn't realize at first that it needed batteries. Thought it was defective. lol.. but when I realized to add batteries, I fell in love with it. My grandsons love them, bought 3. They sleep with them every night. Love how the colors changes.I even bought a 4th one that plays music. ☺️

That pillow still works, but the lights inside have all slumped to the bottom. The babies love to stare at the pillows for very long periods and make all kinds of vocalizations as the lights change, it's adorable how much they try to "talk" to the pillows at only 4 and 3 months of age! We'd recommend these!

My daughter loves the star so much! We got it so that she won't be as scared in the night. She loves to do dance parties before bed with it, she also loves to chat with us in the dark before she goes to sleep with it on. His name is mighty star and has quickly grown to be my daughter's favorite.

there was a similar one I had purchased for my kids when they were little. got this one for a gift and she loved it. and it even turns itself off after 15 minutes. witch is great

My 14 month old Granddaughter absolutely loves this, it's so soft she cuddled with it constantly. The price was great, highly recommend this to anyone with a small toddler.

While I like this item I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't actually twinkle as the picture suggests. Rather the color changes as a soft in and out fade from color to color. No twinkling occurs whatsoever.
