I prefer this type of lights compared to thin wirr fairy lights that are terrible to work with because you end up with a tangled mess. They last a long time and hsve different modes to choose.
these lights are easy to install, and work really well. I wrapped them around my deck rails and put the solar sensors on top of 2 deck posts. the lights do not need direct sunlight to recharge during the day, and yet they stay lit for approx 6 hours at night. the sensors have been covered with 2 inches of snow for the past 5 days, and the lights still light up for a couple of hours. I should also mention that these past 5 days have been mostly cloudy, too. please note, these lights come on when it's dark, and turn off when their charge is gone (in my location they are on from 5-11 pm at max)
Better than the larger strings. The larger strings have too many lights for the size of the solar collector and battery. These stay on much longer during these short winter days and long nights. Also, the shorter string is less prone to tangling.
Overall, his product works well. Be sure to find a nice sunny spot and the product last though the night. I feel like the actual light part of the light string was a little shorter than 39 FT but they work well for what I needed. A plus is it lights up automatically and has a lot more light settings / display options than I expected, which was a nice plus.
I was skeptical- but the color was good- I wish there more lights- but still- happy. I put them out just before the wicked winter weather we had for 3 weeks January into February. They were buried under snow and ice. The night of the thaw, the glowed blue- they are little light warriors!
I liked these, they worked well as long as you have enough sun. Have only been up less than a week so we will see how it holds up to the elements over time. Careful though they do tangle easily.
I would not recommend for outdoor alaska. These need more sun than readily available in the winter months. The lights themselves are not very bright. I feel the cold air may contribute the this. Indoors, they are brighter and last longer with same amount of light exposure. The purchase was made for outdoor display.
can't comment on the quality of these light as I never recieved them! I can however use this opportunity to vent about the delivery service "Ontrac" that Walmart continues to use. They are absolutely the worst I've ever seen, I only recieve about 25 % of my orders delivered by them. It seems their drivers drop packages wherever they feel like it. If they know it's not the right place they simply don't take a picture!
Even when sitting in the light all day, it only holds a charge for about 2 hours. Not worth it! I have other solar items that can hold a charge all night.
lights are not as pictured in the app. No instructions are in the box, and I can't get the item charged. mo technical help from walmart or manufacturer. am going to have to return thr lights. its just too frustrating.
