I bought these to add some night time pizzazz to my two rose bushes. These are perfect they are small enough to not be a distraction from the roses in the day, but offer a delicate glow beginning at sundown. I plan on leaving the up year round and the really nice part is that they are solar powered.

Tiny. Small. Ships totally dead. There is no way to know if the power switch is on or off! During the winter months you'll have to light concentratore, like a Fresnel lense or something to get the battery charged up fully. The LED string pulls approximately 100mA. Therefore the battery must be a multiple of 100 equal to the number of hours of operation. The instructions say 6 to 7 hours IF fully charged. It runs about 5.5 hours on a full charge. Charged indoors with concentrated artificial light AFTER first figuring out ON from OFF! In total darkness leds' appearance is of a string of bright lights. If the mfg gets rid of the power button problem, then yes, I can and will recommend these lights. Also has a mode switch to make lights flash, this saves battery and extends usable light. No connector, is hardwired.

Bright, easy to set up, and perfect for patios or gardens. The lights charge well in the sun and give a nice soft glow at night. Great value for simple outdoor lighting. It is charging itself and work all night with its own battery. Has modes so you can change lighting pattern.

This strand of lights are small and delightful for hanging. The Solar power element makes it useful in areas where no electricity is available. Great for outdoor hanging on fences etc. Very bright for this application.
