Rislone Cat Complete Fuel, Exhaust & Emissions System Cleaner, 16.9 oz

Bought this catalytic converter cleaner because my car was out here coughing like a 90-year-old smoker. Awesome. I had Check engine light on with P0420 code on my 3rd Gen 4Runner. Added this according to instructions and within a few weeks light was off, power and fuel economy was restored. Past Emissions test. Saved $1,750 on purchasing new Cat converter.

We have a 2014 Ford Explorer limited with AWD and we have over 200,000. We would get the 4030 code ford bank %232 and we needed to pass for a upcoming emissions. We would clear the code but come back in like 30 to 150 miles as it got to 198,000 it came often. So went to YouTube and watched videos of what worked and how. This does work if you do it like the bottle instructs, now i bought 2 bottles because of how many miles and how often the check light came on and need the pass a emissions. So put the bottle in at 1/4 or quarter tank and then drove it on highway at 75mph to 100mph until 10 miles and filled up again like the bottle said. We left the check engine light on and after driving a little over a half tank we went the store and the light went off by itself. Now I'm going to do the other bottle when we go out of town this weekend because we are traveling over 500 miles so hopefully will update when we do emission in a week. it's not the cheapest because Ii paid $48 for 2 bottles but it's cheaper than a new catalytic. So hopefully this helps someone.

I used this on my 2008 Nissan Versa with 208k miles, and saw immediate improvement after the first drive cycle. I was getting an intermittent P0420 code (sometimes set, sometimes pending) and poor power. I followed the instructions, and the car smelled like burning plastic after coming off the highway on the first drive. The solvent cleaned something, but what exactly I don't know. I also don't know how this compares to other less expensive fuel system cleaners, but this worked for me. The car accelerates much smoother now and the code has not returned.

Everything I read said this was the best product of this type and I agree. The Sulphur smell went away and I got a boost in gas mileage. It's a Rislone product and they have never failed me.

I just got this product earlier this morning and I turned off my check engine light this morning before day light so I’m going to go and look at how many miles and what the instructions of the company on what to be done and then I’ll rate this product… stay tuned

Don't believe the "Money back Guarantee"! I used this on my 2004 Volvo XC90 with 156,000 miles on it. I was getting the P0420 code every couple of weeks. I had replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, coils and fuel filter along with a new fuel cap and a few sensors and Throttle body. I was thinking my Cat Coverter was getting bad but not getting any odd smell or poor performance. So, based on the "hype" in Rislones write up about the product, and the assurance of "Money Back Guarantee" if it did not turn off the Check engine light code P0420, I decided to try a bottle. I used it exactly as instructed. A few days later, Check engine light back on with same code. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM AND SAVE YOURSELF $25.

Tried it 3 times and followed instructions, nothing changed. Didn’t work and couldn’t notice any change except the light was still on . Their warranty is proof of purchase and a smog test failure, so much for that.
