Rit Dye Liquid 8oz-Charcoal Grey -Multipack Of 3

Really works well. I use 1 bottle on 5 of my Husband's cotton pants. I dye them in the washing machine and use half a cup of salt per load. Try to not pour the dye directly on any clothing. After a bit on the wash cycle to mix, I turn the machine off for 30 minutes. Then I wash regular cycle. I then add laundry detergent and wash again. And to be safe, I make sure the next load of laundry to be washed, are dark or of like colors. It is difficult to see which pants are the older dyed pants, and which are new ones.

The very place of the service

The color I ordered was charcoal grey to cover a blue stain on my cream colored throw rug. I used two bottles and followed the directions. Rug was too heavy for washing machine, so I used the bathtub. Dye did not stain my tub. Although it covered the stain on the rug, it looks more like a deep blue gray. I do like it though. Photo shows the rug I colored and its original pair next to it .

not dark enough

I used two whole bottles of this on a white duvet, it made the duvet a very light gray color. There was a tiny stain and it brought the stain out even more and made the stain a dark gray. For dark charcoal gray I would expect it to be darker than a very light gray.
