Even though the color faded after I rinsed the socks (user error on my part) the color still stayed after fulling washing. I recommend washing them more than once because they did rub some color off after wearing. I used it for my volleyball team to have pink socks for October. I did let them set a little long which ended up looking a little purple-ish but I threw my shirt in really fast at the end and it was the prettiest brightest pink ever! It also washed great too! So it could be the difference in material or the time I let the items soak.
I Re eally like this I did not know it was for synthetics though but I used it anyway con cotton. Mixing is easy the color is the color it's supposed to be. Instructions tho quite small easy to understand so the ease of use is for anyone.. Happy dieing
First off sorry for the crazy face lol. I hadn’t cut the lace front yet so it’s still visible. I purchased a 613 wig and to me they always look so yellow so I bought the RIT dyemore to tone it and it worked pretty well for synthetic wigs. I used 6 capfuls with the largest bottle of rubbing alcohol I could find(the 99% works best) mixed it together in a heavy plastic tub(foot bath from the $ store works well)and let it sit for 20 mins checking every 6 mins. If it’s too ashy use some dish soap and it removes a lot of it. It does dye the underside of the cap but no one sees that. Going to be buying the blue dyemore next for some of my brunette wigs to get the orange hues neutralized. It only works with the dyemore, so unless you want to actually dye it, this review is just for toning a 613 wig.
When it’s on sale the price isn’t bad. I got it fir $4-$5 It just sucks that you have to use so much of it. I was dying about 8 shirts (various sizes) per bottle which was definitely stretching it. They got less vibrant as i went ofc which I didn’t mind bc I liked the variation but if you don’t then use more. It took so long too bc I did 2 shirts at a time in a big pot on the stove per hour. You have to get the temp on your stove just right otherwise it’ll start boiling so check it often. Good product
I love that the color was the exact color I needed and the color is so vibrant. I colored a pair of shoes I purchased from Walmart and they are absolutely perfect.
I used two bottles of the dark violet to dye my queen size duvet and pillow shams and it came out a lovely light purple.
This worked great to dye a favorite sweater I had that had gotten too dingy white. I love how bright the pink looks.
Awesome, works for me, the longer it sits the brighter it becomes, I definitely will continue with this brand
Used half the bottle for two different dye projects and have more to spare for future projects! Would HIGHLY recommend to use color fix when using on synthetic fabrics!
I used this to color our futon cover in the washing machine. I purchased twice what I needed so I could do a test batch first. I mixed it in a large bottle, shook it thoroughly and poured it in the empty machine, added the pillow covers and tested it. They came out fine. I repeated the same process with the futon cover, (which I had presoaked in our tub) and set it on the longest cycle. I washed it once to remove any leftover dye and dried it. It took the dye very well and looks almost new. Both my sons noticed it when they came to visit, so I know it worked if they noticed it! Definitely recommend it. Linneaann
