RITE FARM PRODUCTS SMALL PRO BANTAM CHICKEN PLUCKER QUAIL PIGEON DOVE POULTRY

I raise pheasants for both eating and selling. I purchased this because the item description said for birds under 3 pounds. I needed it for plucking pheasants. A male pheasant weighs in at about 2.5 pounds. However, it was a total disaster for plucking roosters. It tore up the skin and only plucked about 40% of the feathers. I also cut the wings, pulled tail feathers and cut the feet off so as to help after it destroyed the first bird. However, It did do a good job on the hens, which run much smaller. Oh, the heads were already removed. The first rooster got tangled up in the fingers and I had to pry it off the fingers. I had left the wings and feet on. Would I purchase this again? NO! This thing needs to be totally redesigned. I'm going to see if removing some of the fingers will help. Now if the company has any suggestions, I'm totally open. If their suggestions improve the situation, I'll revise my review. But for now, I stand by my review.
