I love this notebook for wildlife observations because it is waterproof and just the right size to keep tucked into any of my bags while still being big enough to keep effective notes and sketches. I really appreciate the ruler on the back cover; it comes in handy to get accurate measurements for leaves and insects and to provide scale in photographs. The paper is sturdy and the spiral binding doesn't get stuck. I also love that it is made in the USA!

Use these for travel journals. Small and lightweight so easy to carry to jot down memories or important information whether hiking or attending a food or ghost tour. Waterproof so no worries recording snorkeling adventures while dripping wet. I especially like ones with no line pages so I can make sketches. I've used them in rainforest of Costa Rica, desert of Jordan, and mountains of Peru. Survive all conditions.

Always fits into my safety vest pocket and lets me write important things down quickly.

I love these notebooks they are great for both site-work and personal adventure notes I just hate that they took away the "universal patterned with numbered pages " layout option it was perfect for keeping track of which sections corresponded to which trips. vERY SMALL...SHOULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME ORDERING. LOOK VERY MUCH LIKE A STANDARD 3 SUBJECT BINDER. COULD HAVE BOUGHT 2 SUBJECT BINDER FOR WHAT I PAID FOR THIS. MY FAULT
