I use this bench for dumbbell workouts and other exercises. It’s sturdy, it was easily assembled, and it was delivered, across the country, quickly. I’m hoping the bench cover will prove itself durable. Since I’ve only used it several times in a couple of weeks, time will tell, but it appears to be a great bench at a very good price.
I’ve had this bench about a year and it has held up well. I am on an 8 day cycle so it is used. A suggestion would be to have a couple more back positions to make it a truly functional FID. also at least on mine the 90 degree is actually about 85 degrees so I have to really crank it down right before the hole. However for the money it’s well worth it.
I originally reviewed the bench in early March, and was happy then. Am still happy with bench, but wanted to leave another review, more focused on the customer service. About a month or so ago, I broke one of the spring load knobs on the bench. I contacted Ritfit to see about getting another one - and would have been happy paying for it. They simply asked me to email pictures of the broken knob, and after I did, received a new one shortly thereafter. Thanks so much, I recommend the bench and company!
I had not heard of RitFit before, but had seen several online ads. I needed some barbell collars and they had a good price so I thought I'd give them a try with a small item like that. They were as good as any collar I would have paid 2-3x more for somewhere else. So I decided to give them another try for the weight bench. I had an old cheapy, and needed something with a little more padding and support. So far, I've used the bench a few times and am very pleased. It's light weight, but very comfortable and with my body weight plus the iron weights have had more than 650 Lbs. on the bench and it hasn't waivered. Also, my back is a little wider than normal, and this provides more support width-wise than a lot of other benches I have used. Was also very easy to put together - took about 10 minutes. I'm slowly building up my home gym with some very good products and nice prices from RitFit.
I was in the need for a new weight bench when I lost mine during Hurricane Ida when my basement and garage flooded with 6’ of water. It was very easy to put together and very comfortable when you lay down on it. It’s very low to the ground so it is very easy to position feet when lifting heavy weights.
Does everything the benches in the gym did. It's stable, light weight, nicely padded, and wide enough to give comfortable support. I looked at a lot of benches and this once seemed the best for the money in this price range in terms of quality and features. After receiving it (and most importantly using it), I believe I made the correct choice.
I've followed Damien Patrick and see him using this bench all the time. Bought it and it's been reliable and sturdy. Assembly was mindboggingly easy. I kept thinking, this is way too easy, and it simply is. Well designed and you'll be using it 10-15 minutes. Just accept how easy it is to assemble. Only wish is it would offer decline positioning but that probably would have changed dynamics of the bench. I looked at a gazillion others, really happy with this choice.
Overall I like the bench, it seems sturdy, comfortable padding, and has several ways to adjust the angle of the bench. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the feet on the ends of the base. No matter what I did I could not get one of them on. It doesn't affect the bench and it doesn't slide on my carpet but I couldn't get them on.
It good bench but a bit expensive
I wish I picked another bench. Once set up, it is sturdy and pretty decent. I also like the options to customize. However, it is not easy to move at all and once you move the bench starts to fall out of alignment. You have to reset height and seat position even if you move this thing a foot or two over. I wish I had bought a different bench but it's just good enough not to deal with the hassle of a return.
