These RJ Legend cast iron mini pots are absolutely adorable. This set comes in one black pot with matching top and one white mini pot & matching top. These mini pots are versatile also, they can go from cooking stove top to oven, then once cooled you can eat from them. How awesome is that. Whether you are looking to cook a very small item, or just cook your food and then add the food to these pots for each individual to look , either way you can not go wrong. The pots are lightweight, but heavy enough to hold a hearty meal. I have been having fun using my new pots. The pots are the perfect way to exercise portion control. I have three other people in my home and everyone felt adequately full after eating. I made personal omelets for breakfast. It's just the perfect size for all the ingredients I chose to use. When I make omelet pie, I had to use throw away tin pans because the cleanup was so messy. With the pots, cleanup is easy. I sprayed the pots with cooking spray then I mixed the eggs in a separate bowl and added cheese and diced ham, cooked in the oven. Once done, I added onions, diced tomatoes and fresh spinach topped with sour cream. We also had fresh fruit and orange juice. I placed the pots on a baking sheet without the lids to ensure the omelet cooked evenly through. Time spent from start to finish was less than 30 min. In a previous review, I indicated the pots are safe for microwave, but I want to change that to the pot is safe without the lid. The lid has a screw and a handle on the lid are metal (not microwave safe). The pots are easy to hand wash and easily store away once dried. I treat them like I treat my cast iron pan. I don't think it's necessary to oil and heat them as most people are advised to treat cast iron skillets. I dropped the pot onto the floor and amazingly it didn't crack or break. I don't want to try it again because I feel if hits the floor from the proper height onto the right surface, I do think it has the potential to at the very minimum get a hairline break in it making it a risk to use.

RJ Legend's 8.5 oz dutch ovens are tiny. You can cook a tiny meal for one person but you probably need 2 or 3 to fill your stomach, so it's probably a good thing that these come in sets of 3 with different colors. They handle stove top and oven equally well. You are advised to hand wash and use non-metallic utensils and most certainly not use it in the microwave oven. I use it for sautéing small amounts of spices to add to my food, the cover prevents the spice seeds from splattering.

These little cast iron pots are super cute and functional for baking. They are great for making individual meals or desserts. These pots are NOT big enough to make a family meal--just individual servings. There are 3 cast iron pots with lids. They are pretty heavy. And they have a vibrant enamel coating. I use them to make my family individual lasagnas or ziti. They feel pretty fancy when I do this. The clean up is easy. They can go in the dishwasher which is where I wash mine or you can hand wash them. They are cute enough to use as kitchen decor as well. When I use them, my youngest (age 4) likes to play with them because they are the perfect size baking pot for little kids so she likes to help prep hers for baking. She did manage to chip the enamel on one of the pot lids so you do need to be careful when setting them down on hard surfaces. But overall, if cast iron dutch ovens are useful to you, then these little pots do not disappoint.

These twin black and white 8.5oz cast iron mini pot set are cute and work. They are solid and constructed like a full sized pot and can cook anything it's full sized cousins can, however for a family squirrels. The pot sets are large enough make a meal to cook for a small toddler or to make small fun cute meals (several bites worth). I tested the pots with chicken noodle soup and on my 3rd to lowest stove setting both pots spilled over with a inch and a quarter from the top worth of food. It cooked everything very quickly with the lids on but that's what made it overflow. They do work, but the price tag isn't cheap for them either for the size. The amount of food that could be cooked with two pots really isn't enough to feed an adult and I think it more of a waste of effort and rather a novelty item. I would compare it to spending 100k on real house built 6" high. Even though very good quality, I wouldn't recommend it especially at the price.
