We'll throw these chocolate spoons a 5 simply for the novelty. If we over analyzed the quality and value it may be a different story, but you don't buy chocolate spoons for their practicality. It's a whim purchase because they're fun and cute. That they were. Yes, they're small, so stirring is relative. It's just a hunk of chocolate that melts fast in a regular size coffee cup of hot milk. Then you have to stir it with a regular spoon and it's just enough chocolate to make the cup of cocoa. Alternately, it's fun to spoon up some peanut butter and eat the utensil!
These were purchased as Christmas gifts. The ones who got them said they were very good and that they enjoyed them. The only issue mentioned was that the handles melt in your fingers when stirring. So one lady said she just poured the hot milk over the spoon resting in her mug and giggled as she watched it melt. LOL All in all they were appreciated and enjoyed!
such a cute novelty idea, they do get slightly messy but is to be expected its a choclate sppon going into a hot drink, but the milk chocolate is yummy doesnt taste cheap and the kids just thought it was sooo cool. great gift to pair with hot cocoa bombs
It is hot cocoa season! I have 4 grandkids nearby aged 4-13 and gramma spoils. They come in out of the cold and love my cocoa. I make it with milk, marshmallows on top and whipped cream- and the most important part- these chocolate spoons i keep in the freezer, they are the most exciting part and the big kids and little kids love them And only a buck a box!!
The spoon is very short. I got them for the grandchildren, they love Gramma's hot chocolate. Adding a special touch, such as a chocolate spoon, or peppermint spoon or something similar makes them special. They chocolate is waxy but they kids don't mind at all. They are so short I can only place them on top of whipped cream, then get buried in a cup.
If you want to heighten your hot chocolate just a little these are perfect! Just make your normal hot chocolate then stir with these! They melt in half, then stir with a real spoon it becomes thick and rich! It's so good! I used mine in a peppermint hot chocolate , and it was amazing!
They were thicker than i thought they would be,. that was a big plus. they didnt dissolve fast which was cool. i loved them so much i bought them after xmas too! thank you
VERY CUTE!! %26 for the price, wow! Great gift for any kid! They're not too small but also not too large either. When they arrived i was more than pleased with this purchase %26 in-turn already bought more! Highly recommend!
They don't really dissolve well and once they do, there's no taste and it definitely doesn't make hot cocoa. My kids still love them and they're neat so I think we will just eat them as a treat instead of using them as a “stirrer”
cant use it to stir the handle breaks off, and not enough chocolate for a good cup with just one. have to add a packet of hot coco to it. it did enhance the hot coco a bit but i had to stir it in with a regular spoon. novalty idea but better in idea than reality.
