I had to get this on DVD, I have a VHS copy which is about 35 years old, so I have been watching ROAD HOUSE for quite few years. I have seen the remake. It is alright but just not the same.

LOVE IT! Plenty of excitement through the whole movie. Patrick Swayze was always a good actor in his movies. You also have Sam Elliot in this movie. Sam's a good actor. He's in Ghost Rider and other movies. I can't remember or think of other movies but I've always liked Sam and I've got movies with Sam in them. I've got so many movies it's hard finding movies when I want to see it. I've got thousands of movies! That's my addiction. If you enjoy action you'll enjoy this movie.

Still a classic!
Great movie with lots of action and great performances by Patrick Swayze, Ben Gazzara, and of course Sam Elliot. Also a great soundtrack with a couple songs from late musician Jeff Healey (who's also in the movie as the resident bar musician) including the title track to the movie "When The Night Comes Falling From The Sky". They don't make action movies like this anymore.

Roadhouse
I had ordered the original Roadhouse and it came in fast and its really good. So I'm excited to get the new one as well! So to me Walmart is the best to order dvd's

honestly
I know not too many people these days watch movies and even less watch them on DVD's and if you're not a Patrick Swayze fan then this review really isn't for you, but just incase I'm not the only one who fits all of the above criteria then I would say this purchase is truly a treasure!
