Nice, simple solution. Took me all of 5 minutes to repair my damaged cable (most of it to find my crimp pliers). I just slipped a couple of pieces of heat shrink tubing over the ends of the damaged cable crimped this new plug on and heated the tubing and all done. Back in business.

it works in my caddy,under seat socket..does not work in my regular socket.. this has a deep end on it,will not work in regular cigarette lighter sockets..

it get hot and melt the plastic

Low amp fuse. Not intended for 300 psi inflator which 10 to 15 amp rating. Fuse blow when I try to use it. Temporarily wrap fuse with aluminum foil until I purchase the right fuse. Other than that it work and look sturdy.

Obsolete if you blow a fuse. The fuse is .019 smaller in diameter than any fuse available at any parts store or hardware store any where so if you blow the fuse, the whole unit becomes useless.

item came with an extremely low amperage fuse that blew the instant it saw current. Had to find and replace fuse with a higher amp rating to use.

I replaced the old plug with the new one and plug it into the car and it less than one minute after I had turned it on. Opened it up only to find that the fuse had blown.
