Maybe a little too “silky” and slippery feeling, but if that is what you are looking for in terms of a satin/silky cervical pillow that isn't a entirely bizarre shape, this could be a great option for you. The level of support is appropriate for its intention, which is to provide a slight bit of cervical traction and a place to properly cradle your head. And like I mentioned, it might be a tad too slippery for some preferences, but that is up to the consumer… It does have the ability to fold up/inward and you can use the pillow like that if you wish. There is an enclosed note that warns about the scent that could come off of the pillow when you first open it, but honestly, I didn't notice anything much at all. But just be aware of that. It is packaged very nicely in the box, of which even seems like it's decent quality, too.

I have a short neck so my head did not reach the head section. This is good for back sleeping but not for side sleeping- there is not enough support to hold your neck /head even or above your shoulders. The satin wrap is cooling, and feels nice. It's better that's removable for washing. It does have good support in the neck bolster. It came compressed in a square box, but expanded quickly, and had a note about odors, but mine didn't seem to have any noticeable ones.

i really love this pillow. The firmness and softness is great. HOWEVER its too low. I have to put it ON TOP of a stack of pillows lol. Feels great though.
