Robert Mondavi Private Selection Merlot, Red Wine, 750 mL

I love that I can both cook with and serve this wine to guests. I have never found a wine at this price point that could do both. My recipes are enhanced when paired with this excellent wine. My guests all assume I paid a lot more for this wine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondovi is a great choice for a Merlot! I never had or new anything about wines until I met my husband's parents and I was hooked so it is a great paring with steak and pasta my 2 fav's to have but also good to just drink alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Already a Robert Mondavi fan, I had never tried this particular wine. I am glad I did! It is a nice, smooth and flavorful red, fairly dry, which is how I prefer my wine. I also gave a bottle as a gift and it was very well received!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the classy look of the bottle. The cork was easy to get out and the wine had a deep, fruity smell to it. It was a beautiful red with deep notes of blackberries and something else I can't put my finger on. Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Merlot was actually a very good wine for the value. The wine had a slight nutty flavor and was full bodied . A nice rich flavor. A good economic value and I will purchase once again.

There have been exceptional years and some just okay years, but regardless, the wine is smooth and tasty. You really can't beat the flavor for the price. I prefer a really dry wine and this usually hits the mark.
