Have been buying these Anaheim peppers for about 2 years now. They usually produce a mild heat, and I never did anything special when I uncapped, deseeded and sliced them. to be oiled and roasted with Italian sausage, Every now and then a batch will be hotter, and I will realize it if I put my hands in my mouth after preparing them. but not so strong when eating.
very large, fresh, firm chiles. roasted very nicely under broiler. great taste. not spicy at all. just enough green chile taste for burger or simple green chile stew.
at first i thought they were hot peppers. i roasted, peeled and made quesadillas with some. Today I made a casserole and used the rest. The peppers give a delicate flavor. very pleased.
light. I had two bags delivered and one weighed 9oz and the other 11oz. Not the 1 pound bags I ordered.
this second package of peppers arrived in bad shape. first one was fabulous but they don't last forever. had to request return for f this item
Wrong peppers 🌶️ I ordered Serano peppers which were around $1.50 and these peppers I'm going to end up throwing away that costs $2.50
I ordered jalapeño peppers not anaheims to make pico need Serrano or jalapeño. did receive a text showing that the jalapeño was out of stock about an hour and a half before delivery but was not able to cancel or reorder to receive Serrano. I have no use for the Anaheim peppers I received have no idea how to prepare them
I did not order these!! Please for future reference, Do Not Substitute, if anything from my order is unavailable! I need to return these “monster” chiles; please advise how to proceed!
I didn't order Anaheim chiles, I ordered Poblano chiles. So I'm really disappointed. The recipe I'm making requires Poblano peppers, which I now don't have.
Picked up my order in drive up and go, shoppers must be over worked because visible mold should not have been sold to anyone
