The RK-X1 is great. I don’t have to run a cord that I have to untangle all the time. It climbs walls. At first you think it’s not going to make it to the top, or it’s gonna keep going or something, but it goes up to waterlines, and then drifts back down. It saves a bunch of time because it sucks up stuff on the pool bottom. Sure you can use a net by hand, but this isn’t a kiddie pool. 8ft down with a thin stick and plastic net sucks. Emptying it out just takes a few minutes. It charges with a wall socket. It’s not complicated and just works. Just don’t let your kids throw it the pool.
i ran it for about 30min and was so happy with it . great product.
picked up all the dirt and sand on the bottom
This has to be the best pool vacuum that I have ever used! I have an in ground, sloping 13 ft deep, 20x40 pool. It climbed even the angled walls of the deep end all the way up out of the water to the edge. It then kicks off and resubmitted. It has been running for 3 hours and my pool is absolutely spotless. It follows tracks side to side all the way down the length of the pool. It gets corners and steps. It will be the best purchase you can make for your pool maintenance! I love it!!
Nice and simple robot that cleanup up my pool pretty well. I had to access the filters from the bottom but the robot was light weight enough that flipping it over wasn't really a problem.
Great little machine that does what it says to do. Price is good and it has good suction to remove the leaves and little items in the pool. I am glad to have this helper to keep the pool clean for the kids.
After researching several options, I finally pulled the trigger on this vacuum, and my only regret is not buying it sooner. Setup was a breeze, and the suction power is truly impressive. The biggest advantage is the cordless design; not having to wrestle with a hose or run debris through my main filter has cut my cleaning time in half. Cleanup is just as simple—just dump the debris and rinse. I highly recommend this to any pool owner
It doesn't have the pickup power to get bigger items off the bottom of the pool. It also seems to keep going in the same patterns on the bottom of the pool it doesn't roam around. I don't see it going up the sides of the pool like it is designed to do. You also have to keep an eye on it because it's supposed to go up the wall of the pool when it's about to run out of power, so you can reach it from the side. Don't count on that, it usually dies out in the middle of the pool.
Considering the price, it's a good deal. It did not clean my entire pool the first time. I am charging it again to see if it cleans the rest of the pool. Considering the price, it's a good deal. It has not been able to go about the sides of the pool for some reason but again, considering the price it's acceptable. for $300 I would think it would do a killer job. but it leaves tons of algae along the side of the pool it does not get the entire pool the first time around it's taken three times of cleaning to get the entire pool. it doesn't do the steps and it doesn't get the water line on the side of the pool. I would not recommend getting
