[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons love this toy, they will play it all the time if we let them. It's great because they can reset it without help and love being able to see who is faster at hitting the buttons, I think it's a good way for them to “fight” safely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My six year old and I had a fun time playing this game. Quick to setup and get playing. Really had fun and love the classic look of the robots. Highly recommended. The only thing I wish Mattel would do is have the die printed and not use stickers. The photo directions for the stickers were a bit confusing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such great memories of this game when I was a child and now my kids love it too ! I definitely recommend getting one for every family! How can u go wrong with this game ! The best thing about it is it's great for all ages .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun twist on the original game. More strategy and attention needed than just slamming the punch button. Took my kids a few days to get used to the rules, but game on once they figured it out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is a lot smaller than the original. It takes concentration to make sure you accurately push the right button (or not) according to the dice roll. The game will go quickly since you only have to have 3 points to declare a winner. It's size is good for travel (although having it fit back into the box is a challenge)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Rock em sock em Robits-Knock or block is a blast! Same exciting game style, but with new & impressive fighting features. You can knock or block....and the knock out is so satisfying! I think this game is built even better than the original. The mechanics of it worked flawlessly, and thats hard to do! Kids loved playing it together, parents loved playing with the kids, and we found the parents dueling each other long after it was all over! Its small in size, so much easier to store. You can leave it sitting out, ready to play at any given time. We didn't love the dice element. I think flipping a card over would have been more exciting and less redudunant. The dice was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. The kids starting just taking turns yelling colors...which was also super fun waiting for your turn to slap your opponents head right off! Lol! We played it ALL night!
A bit disappointing in the size and design. I am old enough to remember when these first came out and they are not as fun to play with based on the design.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son kept telling me that he wishes we had gotten the original game instead. Having the ability to block punches and using the dice to determine who hits seemed fun to me but I think my kids just wanted the ability to keep punching until a robot's head popped off. That being said, my 7 yo son thinks this is hilarious. It definitely tests your reflexes, and it's pretty funny when you hit the other robot. We have it out on our coffee table just for a quick jaunt here and there but otherwise it doesn't hold our attention for more than 5 minutes.
This seller is a fraud. Capital audio and electronics. Sent a used, broken and incorrect item . Off brand product. Not the actual Mattel toy!
Box was open. Was not what I expected need to return.
