I have a spoiled old dog. She's claimed the loveseat as hers, so we usually keep an old blanket on the couch to protect against mud, nails and of course, ALL THE HAIR. This dog blanket is soft and thick and WATERPROOF! It fits perfectly on the loveseat. I haven't needed to wash it yet, so I can't speak to how well it launders, but it seems well made, I'm sure it will be fine.

The Extra Large 56" x 73" Reversible faux suede Sherpa fleece by Rocket & Rex is so light weight, super soft, warm and best of all waterproof. I was skeptical at first that such a light blanket could be all those things. However, I was completely wrong. I have tried so many different blankets to protect our furniture and they are either to small, to heavy and not waterproof, or Tucker just doesn't like them and pushes them out of the way. As soon as I took the Rocket and Rex blanket out of the plastic zipper case I gave it a good shake outside to get off any lose pieces of the Sherpa and I didn't have any issues with it shedding. The weight of this blanket is great. It is light enough to fold it up and put it back in the plastic bag and keep it in the car for long travel or just back and forth to the park, etc... with your dog and protect your seats.

This waterproof blanket has saved my couch cushions! My dog things she is a cat & sits on the back of my sofa to look out the front window. She also loves to run out of the pet door when it rains and comes back in muddy & wet - onto the couch. This has kept the water and mud off of the cushions & I am so happy with it! The fabric is two sides - one is a suede like finish, the other is a super soft plush (Sherpa type) fabric. It is easy to clean- just wash & hang to dry (or low heat in the dryer) It is also easily brought along for car rides!

First this blanket is huge! Definitely no question its waterproof. One side feels like suede and the other soft feels like a fur blanket. The first few days our dog avoided it each time we tried to get him to sit on it after a while we just left it in a big fold next to his bed. Then we noticed when we got home from work he would be sleeping on it. It doesn't show dirt which I'm certain has to be there from wet paws. On the flip side this would be the perfect blanket to lay out for tummy time for babies and toddlers.

The minute I took the blanket out of the package my Bulldog took it from me, flattened it out on the floor, and pretty much claimed it. Its a great plush blanket that you can use really anywhere your dog is going to be. Though my dog is older, and trained, I like to place the blanket on the sofa or my bed, especially when he's about to eat bone a or play with a toy, which he tends to slobber over. The blanket is plush, with water proof backing, and looks great as a throw as well. I would recommend and love to order in other colors.

I was looking to replace my dogs blanket when I stumbled upon this one. This blanket is really large and super soft and fluffy. My puppy loves and and Id say that he likes it since he sleeps on it every night

The blanket is really soft, my dog loves laying on it. The water resistance feature offers the peace of mind for accidents. It's just the perfect size to meet the needs of any size dog.

I have this blanket set up at the end of my bed to protect my very expensive quilt. It is very soft and very pretty. It looks like any other blanket but with the benefit of being waterproof. This is saving me from having to constantly wash my quilt.

I tested this blanket , and it's definitely waterproof.

I wonder if I got a different blanket than the other reviewers here because the one I got was very thin not plush at all. It was nothing like the picture. And nowhere near worth $25. I am disappointed
