Rocketbook Beacons Smart Stickers for whiteboards, Triangles, Orange, 2.5"h, 4/Pack

The beacons add some snazzy to the meeting as the whiteboard becomes shareable in real-time. Taking a picture after the meeting ends still works but it is a photo, glare and all. Showing the bleed through from all the marker prints imbedded on the whiteboard. This has not happened when I use the beacons on some pretty old boards. Big plus! These beacons are fun to slap onto the board and serve as a great ice breaker! People love gadgets and they really love them when they make things better. As the consulate professional, pulling out the convenient storage package out of my briefcase, applying the beacons in seconds and converting that whiteboard into a smart board makes quite an impression! I have had many whiteboard snapshots over the years and they are rudimentary at best. At such a low cost, the beacons pay for themselves the first time you use them, just think of the time it takes to expand that snapshot from your PDA to try reading it and then going back and forth to your computer screen and keyboard. Importing the data is a breeze and it does not require having to get IT support! Very simple and easy instructions to follow for the setup. Depending on the size of the whiteboard, the beacons can also be doubled to capture really large whiteboards.

This is such an excellent way to capture what's on the whiteboard right to my phone for easy access no matter where I'm located. I can easily take a peek at everything that is being put on the board and recall it all! I'm not using it for a typical list of chores or for my calendar, but for my stand-up whiteboard, double side. Of course, using on just one side. It's pretty long, not so much width. However, it works perfectly to capture from corner to corner or the location I've placed them. I just hope that the sticky piece continues to stick after a long time of use. However, this really makes things simple without having to try to take a photo of my board each time. I feel the time I began using these, I've worked more because I had the board with me on the go and not only when I come into the room to see it. Makes working remotely and keeping things in mind so much easier! This really is such an excellent product, unique and one thing I've never seen elsewhere, but so glad to have it for my board! It's definitely well worth the expense and super helpful for my lifestyle and career.

If you have a whiteboard for classrooms, training sessions, whatever, these are so helpful! It helps me keep track of what we put on the board and allows me to reference my classroom notes whatever I need to!

As a teacher I use these almost daily. Love them!!

Quality product at a great price

The product impresses with it's technology, utilizing the adhesive triangle stickers that are easily attached. It is very cool that other people can be brought in from across the globe to have it update every 10 seconds. If there is a need for it to be updated every 10 seconds, opposed to a video being e-mailed out after, the product does fall short for it's price tag. There are already other apps and software created that essentially do the same thing at a much lower price point. Overall we are excited for this technology to improve, and see what it can do in the future, but for our start-up company we simply can't justify using it. We have it valued at around $200, and/or possibly recommend a monthly subscription.

So the device comes in a surprisingly small package and like many devices today uses a phone app and comes with sparse instructions. It definitely works as advertise although I could not get the OCR capability to work, ...but my handwriting is pretty bad. So you simply stick the 4 beacons on the corners of your whiteboard, download and setup the app with email or cloud storage addresses and then aim your phone and voila , there you have it. No need to press the shutter button either. So in the early stages of problem solving where things change a lot, on the whiteboard, this would be great. If things are more static, it would still be useful, but not as much I think. There used to be specialized whiteboards costing thousands that did this so I'm impressed.

I liked the packaging and the quality of Beacons Material very much. the problem was, I tested it and it only works for whiteboard and white background, so if you wanna stick it to something with darker background, it wont work.
