[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it seems great. We havent spilt anything on that so I cant speak about that. But there was plenty to cover the garage and the flooring looks amazing. It didnt take long to do, and the instructions were very clear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The result after using the Rust-Oleum RockSolid garage floor coating (in "Modern Greige") looks very neat and modern; the high-gloss finish gives my garage a much more polished and professional appearance. Application was straightforward, though surface preparation is definitely the most critical step. Once the floor was thoroughly cleaned and prepped, the coating went on smoothly and dried to form an incredibly durable-looking surface. I also appreciate that the product is designed to withstand oil, chemicals, heat from hot tires, and general garage wear and tear. My top tip is to work quickly and carefully since the coating dries fast—it's a good idea to have a spare paint roller ready. Coverage can vary depending on the porosity of the concrete, so be sure to calculate the amount needed accordingly. This product gave my garage a professional look without the need to hire a contractor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before put it together you have to make sure to clean and prep the floor, fill the gaps on the concrete and put a primer (this is not included) this is going to be the 2nd time we used this kit , is easy to used but you need to work fast. My sister still intact and is been 2 years. Make sure to works on section to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really does make the garage look clean. It is a process to get to that point, though. Expect to have everything removed from your garage for close to a week. We had some cracks in the cement and leveling that needed to be done before we could apply. You will need to wash the floor. After every step the floor will need to have time to completely dry. None of this is difficult or overly strenuous, just time consuming. The finished product is well worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product in our garage and it worked as expected. It was our first time doing anything like this and it felt like it took forever, but I could do a mother garage way faster no that I know what I'm doing. Overall, it was fairly easy, seems to be durable, and looks better than our old floor. We're happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very awesome product. It's thick and gives the floor a shiny look as if waxed. It's not slick to walk on even wet. One thing to watch out for when applying make sure you get it used in the allowable time frame it says. It will become too thick and harden if you don't. Inly mix one bag at a time if you have multiples. I'd also advise using a better roller than the one the kit came with. The traditional fuzzy painter rollers are much better. It can leave darker or lighter spots if your not careful..Put the coat on as evenly as possible and very thick so one coat is all you will need. I finished a month ago and it is as shiny as when I just finished it. Looks great, am very satisfied with the results. Overall, very happy with how it turned out, hopefully my prep work was good enough keep it in place for years to come!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we started, the process seemed daunting, but the result was well worth it. After you empty your garage, expect it to be empty for a week. The whole process isn't complicated, just time-consuming. We have a 3-car garage and did end up needing two boxes to complete our garage. Our garage looks amazing, and we save so much money by doing it ourselves.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rustoleum brand floor coating kit is best in market. This kit is meant for 2.5 car garage and served the same. Ofcourse this floor validating can be used not only for garage floor but also other areas like workshops, family rooms etc. gloss finish is good and shiny on the garage floor. Very happy with the finished floor how it turned. This 180oz kit covered all the garage floor which is like 400 sq ft. Kit is easy to use and was able to do diy and a complete floor turned out rock solid. And quite confident of not peeling off anything and hasn't seen any cracking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks fantastic, however, it was our first time doing this ourselves so it was a tad difficult to get the hang of it. Another issue is that we already had a ton of stuff in our garage that we had to figure out what to do with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it would turn out better or maybe be easier to apply than it was. This was my first attempt at floor coating and it did not go so well. I'll start with the good first. The burst pouch are very neat as you just roll one end into the other allowing the two parts to mix. That was easy and not messy at all. The decorative chips/flakes are fun to toss down and add a nice touch. Dries fairy quickly and I would say floor was ready for foot traffic 8-10 hours later as stated on box. The weather was not on my side but this can be applied at temps between 40-90° F and I believe I was no lower than 50° throughout the process so no issue there. No VOC's added so smell is bearable for sure. Now the bad is that the kit comes most supplies to finish the job but there is a lot of prep work required beforehand. I wish I would had known this because I had to purchase additional items before I could begin. Like I have paint brushes and the kit includes roller pads. However, I still needed to have roller frame, extension pole, and a stiff bristled broom just to name a few. Also needed to patch up any cracks or chips in the concrete. Then came the need to apply degreaser (not included) to the floor. There was just a lot of steps, prep work, and wait time than I thought it would be. I don't think it's worth the effort or time. I'm no expert, just an average homeowner, but I would leave this to the professionals.
