Didn't like that they arrived in a simple shrink wrap clear covering at first, but now appreciate the efficiency of the process!!! I have been seeking out a new pair of snowboots that are also stylish enough for the office plus keep my toes warm. This fit the bill!! might just have to order more... only drawback is these are strictly lace-up.
They are great quality hiking boots but the left boot rubbed my heel raw. I think I can it fix so they will not do that. They are made very well and seem rugged and durable and made from real cowhide leather. That is a rarity nowadays since most shoes are made with PU leather. Something I do not like, it has to be cowhide leather for me that is why I'm going to fix them so they won't rub my heel and wear them. Oh and they are waterproof so they keep my feet dry also.
My wife seen these boots and said that she wanted a pair, so I ordered them for her. She knows that I have been wearing Rocky boots for 40 plus years and have never complained about the way they fit or wear. Just put them on and go, no break in required. She put hers on when she got them when we went out and has no complaints about how they fit and comfort of these boots. She was surprised that they really didn't need to be broke in.
Cute style, bought for my "get home bag" to keep in my car; recently bought these after hurricane hit and I had to walk home in waist deep water wearing 'business casual' work shoes (after a bunionectomy) . Broke these boots in during family camping trip, no blisters or achy points after wearing for 24 hours. Their comfort lasted longer than the family did on our trip :D Buy these for having a practical pair of boots to take care of yourself responding to relevant mondern-day challenges and for day-to-day tasks.
Well made, attractive and comfortable Boots. Great Investment. I highly recommend these to anyone shopping for Quality Hiking Boots.
I'm a man with narrow feet so I bought woman's boots and I'm telling you they fit PERFECTLY! Nobody knows because the colors are dark and they look so tough.Feels like walking on clouds and I'm very happy with this purchase x)
Much nicer than expected. The boots kind of remind me of Dr. Martens, but way more comfortable. I have a narrower foot and the width is great. The insole is actually pretty good too. True to size. All around good boot.
THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WORKING, AND THAT IT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE! THE FIRST WEEK I HAD THEM WE VOLUNTEERED AT THE HOMESTEAD FESTIVAL IN COLOMBIA TENNESSEE AND BOY DID IT RAIN! MY FEET STATED DRY AND COMFY
I bought these about a month ago, so I can not speak to long term quality. I was looking for a leather boot, with a decent sole, hiking boot style and not horribly ugly. I read some reviews on reddit about this boot, and was expecting to have to break them in a bit before they were actually comfortable. NOT THE CASE. They were comfortable right out of the box. They keep my feet warm, dry, and supported. Size/width is true to size. Toe box is roomy enough I can wiggle my toes, but foot is supported enough that it doesn't slide around in the boot. I bought them for everyday wear, I work in an agricultural office I'm not wearing them for outdoor labor. I wanted something I could wear in the winter and keep my feet warm and dry without being a bulky snow boot. I was also looking for something that was all one color, or didn't have an obnoxious design. Everything else I was finding was either NOT leather, or was leather but then had ugly features. I just wanted a simple comfortable leather boot. These definitely met my needs, and the price was right. Rating 4 stars because I've only had them for a month.
These do not have arch support. The “tongue” of the shoe is hard/inflexible and it hurts my foot too much to wear it.
