I bought these boots for my nephews first year in the hunting blind, he love's them. These boots do what they are suppose to KEEP HIS FEET WARM, KEEP HIS FEET DRY, AND THE BOOTS FIT HIM & WERE BROKE IN WITH NO BLISTERS!!
Bought these for my son for the Youth Turkey Hunt in New Mexico. He put a lot of miles on them and climbed 6 Mountains. We hunted 3 days hard and he never complained about his feet hurting. At one point it rained really hard and his boots were wet, you could see the suede was really wet and his feet stayed dry. Thanks Rocky Boots.
I bought these for my 5 year old son for his first hunting trip with me. They seam to be very comfortable for him and kept his feet warm in 19* weather. I would recommend these boots for anyone that has a young hunter that is wanting to go out and spend time in the outdoors.
bought these as a christmas gift for my grandson, all wrapped, ready for the tree. then he tells his mom the night they're packing for a camping trip that his boots smash his toes !!! needless to say, he got a present early. when he came home after the trip , he couldn't stop telling me how great they were, that the other boys wanted to know where he got them, and his feet were dry and comfy the entire weekend. he is crazy about these boots !!
Boots were for my 9 year old son. He covered 2000ft of elevation in about 1.25 mile distance and had not hot spots or blisters. He had only worn them for about an hour before our hunting trip. The boots are lightweight considering the warmth they provide.
My boys love these boots. They say they are very comfortable, almost like wearing tennis shoes. These boots always keep their feet warm and dry in the hunting months. I think they would wear them them 24/7 if they could.
I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago after my 7 year old Bearclaws finally fell apart. They're very comfortable and the fit perfectly.
they fit my toddler well and i would recommend this product. I will order more boots for my family.
look like good kids boots, but i ordered the wrong size
I originally wrote this review in mid-December of 2016. I finally got around to posting it now. We live in Southwestern, PA (mentioned so you know what type of weather we live in, cool autumns, and often cold and snowy winters). When purchased, our son was 5 years old, around 45 pounds, about 47 inches tall, and very active. We do play a lot (after school, on weekends, after church, anytime we are not at school or work), so he definitely got some use out of these boots. We bought these almost exactly a year ago for our then 5-year-old kindergartener. He wore them to school every day from mid-December to around the end of April. However, once at school, he always changed out of them and wore his "running" shoes. He also used these as his play outside in the snow boots. Yes, we still do that. He built snowman families, sled rode, and hiked in these boots. And finally, when the colder weather started, around the beginning of December this year (2016), he started wearing them again. The good: 1. He likes the way they look. 2. He never once had wet feet. 3. He never complained of cold feet (although read below). The bad (from a father's view point) 1. The soles wore out, literally through three of the tread lugs on the heel of one of the boots into the hollow air pocket above the sole. The exact same thing occurred on the other boot, but it has only worn through on two of the tread lugs. The irritating part about this is that this happened within the first two months of his wearing them. 2. When we would come in from playing outside, I would help him get out of his winter outer layers. This includes his boots. His toes were freezing cold to the touch. 3. When I bought these, I was under the impression that Rocky Bots were made in the U.S.A.. However, I was very disappointed to find that this style/model is Made In China.
