Rocky Men's S2V Predator Tactical Boots Coyote Brown 12 2E (Wide)

My son loves these boots! He works in the Everglades and walks through heavy brush and water. These boots drain the water and protect his feet. He usually wears them with waterproof, neoprene -like socks that go just above the height of the bootwhich keep his feet dry so its a nice combo.

I bought the boots a month ago they shipped with in 12 days and I live in Alaska. I should have bought atleast 1/2 to 1 size bigger only because I wear thick socks I'm SUPER PLEASED by the craftsmanship and quality of the boots. I had a pair of the winter ones when they first came out and they were AWESOME, thought enjoy the boots.

Out of all the service boots I've gotten so far, these are top notch. Great ankle support without feeling too constricting, and were surprisingly comfortable during the break in phase. I don't wear very thick socks, got my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly. Not to mention they look pretty darn good.

Well; I have had several pair, the body of the boot is like a sleeping bag for your piggies, even with an average of 13,000 steps per shift, five days a week! But, about the soles would be worn through to the inside of the foot bed in 6 mos. The boot should be designed to have sole replacement in mind when they wear out. No break in period required, "GREAT FOR RAPID RESPONSE" that require aggressive terrain changes! changes

I really like these boots. They are light and were comfortable from the first time I put them on. The only thing I dont like about them is the lacing system. I like a snug fit and it is hard to get that with the way one lace twists up with the current system. I replaced one lace with paracord.

I got these to replace a pair of S2V's that finally gave out. Got the same size and width but these don't fit the same, thought the would break in but I guess that's not going to happen anytime soon. Tried different insoles, which helped some but still not as good as my original pair.

These boots are well constructed, but they do not fit the calf well, they are WAY too large at the top making a large space for chafing to occur and for foreign particles to get in the boot. It also makes them difficult to lace as the top eyelets want to pull together. I don't like them and they are also VERY expensive.

Bought these online. I have had several Rocky Boots in the past and loves them! And once I got these on they fit very comfortable. However getting them on is another story. The tongue is sewed to the side so the opening to slide your foot in is fixed it, takes me a good ten plus minutes to get them on and the fight just isn't worth it.

Wouldn't but again, they look cool, but way bulkier and heavier feeling than other brands, and you'd think that's worth it for durability maybe, but the rubber at the toe Let for and started to peel off its seam with the top of the foot after light use on pavent for 1.5 months…. Just not worth it, 2 stars because they feel decent quality aside from that and look cool
