[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The turkey brine had a nice flavorful scent. The spices and the herbs all tasted good together. The appearance of the turkey brine appearance was bright and vibrant. Using the rub on chicken bought out the different herbs used in the brine. I used the brine to soak the chicken in as well as used it for a seasoning, which gave the chicken that I prepared a great and wonderful taste. All hands-down, this is a great seasoning and one that I will keep around.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma of this product, when you're marinating. It is amazing easy to cook with inconsistency. Is great with all the different seasonings and ingredients leaves your turkey tasting amazing
great brine love this I always started brining my Turkey 3 days before it was seasoned good and moist
Actually, I have not used this on turkey. I take pork (roast, chops), put in bag with a handful of the brine, vacuum seal, then cook sous vide. A quick sear on the outside, and done! The brine gives a very nice fruity, yet savory flavor to the meat. And works well in a wine reduction.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My turkey was delicious it was moist and u can actually taste the flavor! We had a early thanksgiving this year for friends and they all loved it the turkey was definitely a hit! Cant wait to make another turkey for my family to see what they think!
We followed the instructions for our 18 pound Butter all turkey. Let it brine 16-18 hours and put the turkey in the Big Easy Oil Free Propane Cooker. Set it on high for 3 hours, cooked it til was 172 degrees-202 degrees. We had five meat thermometers and couldn't figure out which was the most accurate, thus the crazy temperature range. This year was the first time we did not inject the turkey, just brined it. It made the best tasting , juicy and moist turkey ever!!! We will use Rodelle from now on. We will skip injecting the turkey, too!!
I use this on spatchcock cornish hens, brine for 4 hours then roast in the Ninja Foodi for about 15 minutes To finish with a glaze of cranberry-pepper jelly, they are so moist and flavored throughout. I thinking about trying a pork shoulder, then pressure cook to shred, the balance of spices should work well with pork as well as poultry. This is the best spice mix for a brine that I've come across, well balanced flavors...job well done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! I recommend Rodelle - Rodelle Turkey Brine 13oz for excellent quality, smell great you can use on turkey or chicken, good taste, easy to use and great size. really have natural dry cranberries
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always like to test brines with pork chops and chicken before the big Thanksgiving holiday. This way I can tell if the flavor will be good for the turkey. This brine is so flavorful! It left both my chicken breasts and pork chops extremely juicy. My husband is still raving about the pork chops.there is a hint of sweet and spice from the dried fruit and vanilla bean and sage. The directions are really easy to follow: dump contents into boiling water and let cool then add your meat. Done! You have to try this-it will definitely wow your guests!
The instructions on the 25 oz. container says to use 2 cups (16 oz) for a normal size turkey. This leaves 9 ounces left. Why on earth would you make a container that has enough to do 1 1/2 turkeys? Who quality controlled this? The container should be 16 oz or 32 oz. The remaining 9 oz doesn't make any sense...
