I recently received a cable I used for extension of a standard USB connection. The cable is rated for USB 3.0 connection, with standard type A connectors, one end male, the other end female. It measured out as 14' 9" and has a braided sheath. I selected red to make it easy to see, but other colors are available. The cable is somewhat stiff, as I would expect for a cable shielded for that length. Both connectors are high quality in feel and connect snugly. The braided covering seems very durable and should last long even in relatively hostile environments such as a vehicle in alternately cold and sunny weather of temperate climates. My overall impression is that this is a high quality item and I recommend it.

It arrived in good condition, and we love the bright red color. We use it to give some of our gaming controllers some extra length so we can play from our sofa, and it works a treat. All in all, though, this is a great product, with very high rates of data transfer and impeccable durability. I would recommend this cable!

I am using this as an extension for my phone charger. It's long enough to reach across the room. It's amazing! No more struggling to use my phone while it is charging. The cable exterior is braided, which from my experience, seems to last longer than a plastic one.

Having one that's 15 ft, and 3.0/data transferable, is even better because you can extend your phone charging cord or you can extend the camera, or a laptop connection to some other USB device. I know, I've used mine with a capture card and microphone for doing live streaming, so having a USB to USB extender is always a great thing to have around. This cord in particular, I like a lot because of its braided design, the color great and is a nice red, I like red. But I'm sure it comes in other colors, the braiding makes the cord a lot stiffer so less chance of breakage at ends. You can also do data transfer, so if you have to transfer a bunch of pictures off your phone or videos off of a camera or say a laptop or something and you just need a longer cord, you know there's always times that you'll just need a longer cord and this will help you out in that situation.
