Well worth the little I spent

CXPoet April 10, 2020

I bought one of these a few years ago because I wanted to have an acoustic around to strum. Well, it sounded kind of dead, so I layed out a few $$ got some new strings and brass bridge pins and holy $#!+ did this thing come alive! The action was on point, it stays in tune. I've used it out and to record, just as much as I use my Martin and people are ridiculously impressed with it. So, yeah, by doing the bare minumum I got a very professional sounding guitar.

Really nice guitar for the price

Horn May 7, 2020

I have purchased five of the Rogue guitars over the years and have always thought that they are exceptional values. Every one I've purchased was well made and very nice in all respects for the price I paid. As a guitar hobbiest I like to modify the guitars I buy by adding better strings and replacing saddles, nuts and tuning machines etc and then reselling. I wouldn't have to on any of the Rogue's I've purchased but I'm retired and have the time so sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Free time; one of the best things of retirement.

Much better than I expected

Professor Ginz April 28, 2020

I saw this on the Stupid Deal of the Day and bought it on impulse. The last thing I need is another guitar, but at this price I thought it would be good for occasions when the guitar might get damaged. I am pleasantly shocked at how good this guitar is. I expected a thin boxy tone.Instead it has a warm comfortable tone. It plays at a nice volume, has objectionable buzzes or dead spots. I would have qualms using this guitar for a recording or on stage. Amazing that this instrument can be offered at this price.

I am a very happy customer and would definitely buy again

Chrys J. December 31, 2019

My husband always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. So one of my colleagues suggested this website and they have awesome deals. I was able to get Hubby a guitar hassle free and for a great price. The quality is very great considering the price. Overall I'm very happy.

Good Beginners Guitar

G Gracik August 8, 2017

For the price this guitar is amazing. The Action is very nice compared to a more expensive solid top guitar I owned. The action is very nice. Yes there is a bit of tenderness for not having callouses yet. but compared to another starter guitar this is nice. The strap is big enough for me 6 ft 2x size. with a few inches to go of adjustment. The pitch pipe is a bit hard getting used to so i will use an electronic tuner. The action on this guitar is as nice as a squire fender electric i had. I am very impressed.I thought it came with out a strap but it was in the guitar bag pocket , so look there.

Great Guitar for the money

Jay June 14, 2016

I was looking for a knock around guitar for introductory students to use. This guitar has a nice, rich, Martin-esque sound that projects well, very nice appearance and appears to be well made, especially for the money. I've been playing guitar for 35 years and to my ear this guitar sounded as good or better than the other guitars I looked at that were 2 to 3 times the price. The guitar had fret buzz but the action was a little high from the factory so the first thing I did was adjust the neck truss rod and this helped a great deal. I plan on lowering the saddle a little the first time I change the strings but the guitar is now comfortable to play (after the neck adjustment) without any fret buzz. This guitar may wind up getting more use by me as a guitar to just leave on a stand in my office to just grab and noodle with for 5 or 10 minutes than by my students. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Worth a try at this price point.

David December 28, 2017

I was pleasantly surprised at the sound of these guitars...for this price it was pretty great. But also got an unpleasant surprise as well. I purchased 2 of these guitar packs. And one was great out of the box, just changed to a better set of strings and was good to go. But unfortunately the other one had some fret issues. They were not trimmed and smooth at all...very rough. But as it would happen, I also run a small guitar repair shop, so after a bit of work and smoothing, it came to life quite nicely. But all in all pleased. For this price range. I would say if you need a first guitar for learning, or maybe an inexpensive instrument for the campsite, office, or for a bit of porch playing, these would definitely fill the bill.

Really nice sounding guitar and great for the money.

Johnny Shred May 6, 2020

Nice guitar for the money. I have never seen action like this on a cheap acoustic. I also added Blisstime bone nut and saddle and the fit perfectly and gave a nice boost to the sustain and overall tone. The Blisstime bone nut and saddle were 10 bucks with 2 nuts and 2 saddles. I also bought Blisstime bridge pins but they did not fit.

Great value for beginners

J&g z January 21, 2017

Bought this for my son to use at school. It is perfect for a beginner, lightweight, and came with everything he needed to get started. Although it feels like cheaper construction, it plays great and holds up to the bumps and bangs to be expected from a teenager.

Good for a beginner

Jessie February 23, 2016

I got this pack on sale on Black Friday, I got a good deal so I was happy with the purchase. I brought the guitar to learn on, and it served me well for two months. Once I started learning chords, I realized how difficult it was to play them on this guitar, and how bad the chords sounded. I never had a problem with the tuning though. The guitar always stayed in tune. If you are looking for a cheap guitar to test the water with, this will fit the bill. Although I have moved on to a better guitar, I am happy with this purchase, and I would buy again. The deal I got was too go to pass up.
