it sounded like a guitar

I have been playing (at a fairly intermediate level) acoustic/electric guitars since 1996. I always wanted a true "rock" guitar, whammy bar and all. So, when I started doing some research, I was astonished to find this guitar and package. Going with my gut with the help of so many positive reviews, I ordered one and MAN, has it been a love affair... As mentioned in other reviews, there is a little fret buzz, but nothing you can't fix yourself with the included wrenches. It's a good learning experience. Just search YouTube and you can find all kinds of ways to tweak your guitars. The tone is clean and vibrant. I bought a DS-1 distortion pedal as well, and it really rocks out nicely on the small amp. The string action is very comfortable. It makes me want to play longer and really get better. I'm 44 years old, and I have played around with quite a few really high-end guitars. For the money, you get a serious, quality instrument here. Don't even doubt yourself if you are considering getting one!

I love the look of it. The fret board is very nice and its action is very good. this was a amazing buy and I would recommend it for anyone trying to start out and its a great price. Very good sound to and the amp that comes with it is amazing. I like how small it is but also it is super loud if you want and you can customize the sound like the treble and the bass. Also, I love the drive function making it a little more just blurred which is really nice for just jamming around.

I've had this guitar for a couple months now, and it is perfect for a beginner and intermediate. I recommend that you just buy the guitar by it's self and an amp separate. The amp honestly sucks. The guitar it's self is good though. Also the frets are not cut perfect so I recommend that you grind them. They are not a problem to me but I know that all of the other try hard musicians will make a big deal about just so they can make people think that they are the best guitar player out there. So if you are a try hard musician then complain all you want

I was disappointed when I received the item in a deep burgundy when I order the purple burst. Even though we wanted the purple my son was happy with the color so we kept it, other than that one problem the item is a really great value.

It wasn't worth even the sale price. The strap is to small, the pics were soft, the strings weak one broke right away. The box was also damaged when it arrived.

Set was a gift for our grandson. The guitar worked great, but there was no amp in the box. We contacted the company twice by e- mail and never got a response. Our problem is not with the product it is with Music123 which is the co. It was sent from. Our order# 8692025958407 apparently doesn't exist.
