I had the absolute best delivery person there could ever be. I was at ease with her, and she was very polite and inviting. I want her every time I order and, I know that's not the way it works. All I can say is that she is a super super asset to the Walmart delivery department. Had I known she was going to be my delivery lady I would've tipped her more.
Fresh Cravings Rojo's Classic 5 Layer Dip is absolutely delicious! Every layer—from the beans to the cheese to the fresh toppings—comes together for the perfect party dip. The 28 oz size is great for sharing, and it's always a crowd-pleaser at gatherings or even just for a snack at home. Fresh, flavorful, and addicting in the best way. A definite must-try!
Quick and easy for a bachelor dinner. Just buy some chips and bamn, you're good to go. I get two and half meals from it. I wish it had more sour cream though.(I'll buy my own and add it at times). There is a Great Value one for a $1 less, but I like this one better.
I normally do not buy “deli” type dips because they never taste as good as they look (think movie theater popcorn). This dip is a glorious party in your mouth - there is a layer of refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and grated cheese. It isn't even 8am yet and I'm in my pantry searching for another bag of corn chips so I can keep eating it.
First, the lid was cracked and the plastic peel-off was the only thing holding it from spilling on the floor. The beans were dry, the salsa used was too tomato-y and gave a flavor I did not like. The dip is not spicy, which is good, but the salsa ruined the flavor for me.
It's good. Don't get me wrong. The thing is, this is advertised as “mild“ and it is absolutely not. It has a very strong kick to it and I can't eat it. My lips are still burning from the one bite I did have and my stomach is very displeased. It's definitely at least “medium” in spiciness. If I could get the salsa, which is what is spicy, out of it and eat the rest, it would be absolutely delicious. I'm really disappointed.
I hesitated to spend the money, but had expectations of something wonderful. Instead, there was almost NOTHING of guacamole; the tomato-based section was VERY vinegary; not enough sour cream to taste; consistency of muddy sludge. Had a few bites, couldn't force myself to eat it; $6 went to the trash.
I normally buy a different brand. Decided to try this one. Not as good as the other one. Where is my guacamole? I'm sure it's in there someplace, but I can't find it. It threw off the taste. It also had very large chunks of tomato making it a texture issue. I won't be buying this one again. It really needed the guacamole or more of it.
It was pretty darn salty. The next morning all our stomachs were very upset from eating this. I will not buy the five layer "brown out" EVER again if ya know what i mean. This is the only thing everyone with stimach issues had in common so im positive this was the enemy that destroys toliets (and a pair of pants) Dont do this to your family or friends but if you have an inlaw you dont care for then i would say go for it
I generally make my own layered dip but was running short on time and decided to try the Rojo's again. I've previously tried it and it was acceptable. This time, I was extremely disappointed that the dip was missing the layers and all I had was beans and salsa. There was zero guacamole, zero sour cream and zero shredded cheese. I'm sure it was a fluke but not something I really want to try again.
