Roku Express+ HD 1080p Streaming Media Player, 3910RW

This is the Roku model for older TV's with RCA/Composite inputs.I have used Roku for years,including several different models.The best new thing of note is Roku has recently released The Roku Channel,which has hundreds of free movies.It is ad supported.Roku has just about every app you can imagine (YouTube/Pandora/Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/HBO Now) plus tons of more apps in many different categories.

I would have given this 5 stars, but we haven't used it much yet, just a few days, and the downloads took a day and half. However.. I will say my husband didn't complain about the ease of figuring it out, and he has really been enjoying some great movies the past few days lounging on the sofa. Typically he would be sitting at the computer in an office chair. He has been so happy he has even done things around the house, and fixed a crock pot stew.. which he just never does ! lol ! It is nice he can lounge, kick his feet up and enjoy with a big screen and stereo sound for his sci fi movies. There doesn't seem to be any delay in the services, where it needs to upload etc. Really love it ! I say, if your hubby or kids want to feel spoiled, buy one ! :D

I bought this for an older TV without a HDMI connection. I also wanted to ditch my cable bill. The picture comes in clear and can access all the things I watch like Netflix. There are also a lot of free programs available to watch from local networks. If you search the internet you can find all types of tips and trips for Roku. With the new HD it works great with my TV. I have an older Sony TV with HD capacity so it works perfect.

I love this! I needed to replace my older Roku and wasn't sure what to get. I'm so glad I chose this one. It's so much faster than I thought it would be too. And it's so small. It came with double sided tape so I stuck in onto the bottom of my TV. This TV is older so I needed a Roku with the composite cables. I'm very happy with Roku. I use it as an extra cable box since you can get the spectrum app. And if you want you can access all sorts of free and pay movies or series without paying for cable.

Spectrum charges $6 a month rental fee per cable box, and a Roku can take its place. Just add the Spectrum app, then return the expensive cable boxes.

Loved it. I have an older tv and I couldn't get rid of it. I was about to throw it out because I could only watch DVDs on it. Came across this item and I love it. I'm so glad I kept the tv. I can watch all my favorite shows

Hooked up to old tv easily..lots of free apps I can watch so no cable bill anymore,and apps u can buy if ud like ..if not lots of free trials to try can do one a month prob for 2 years they offer different stuff all the time..love

Works very well with an older model Vizio TV. I had a problem locating one that worked with this model TV and was happy to find this one that was compatible.

I ordered the Roku Express because the cable company scrambled the signal to control how many tv's you can have and make you lease a box from them to unscramble it. I have an old tv in my bedroom without a hdmi hookup and this Roku comes with a usb hookup! YAY! Soon I will ditch cable, Roku has everything!

There is no reason anyone should resist buying this item! I cannot believe that it only has a one-time fee at such a good price - and then you suddenly have a smart TV! The HD availability is incredible, and the headphone jack and remote finder are really cool features that can make a huge difference! So happy with this product! I wrote this review for a contest.
