Roku Express HD Streaming Device with High-Speed HDMI Cable, Standard Remote (No TV Controls) and Fast Wi-Fi

I love the ease of Roku to watch steaming channels. I had a little difficulty setting up the program. I texted with the support person. They called me and charged $56 to answer question. I have set up several Roku systems. It is easy to set up. Avoid support person it isn't free. Be sure to try plugging in to an outlet instead of tv. I love my Roku even though I encountered problems. It is easy to hook up to internet. The navigation is easy. I don't encounter buffering very often. The shipping is fast.

The remote controls volume and power on my TV. The remote uses radio instead of IR. The unit is 4 K capable. I un-power mine when not using. In the past, I had an Express on all the time and it caused a failure after 2 years giving the message that it wasn't getting enough power from the USB. Even the supplied adapter didn't work.

I purchased two of the Roku stick sets while they were on sale; a great sale. They were utilized in guest bedrooms of our home. They were easy to set up, self explanatory, and worth every penny. Every streaming service and detail that was listed on the box was available on the Roku device, and it was easy to add additional streaming services. Quickly turned these two tv's into smart tv's. I ordered the Roku sets late one night, and they were delivered to the house the next day. Great item(s) and fast delivery!

Never streamed before, and we are still learning, but it was so easy to set up and use, and we are amazed at the free channels that you can stream. All these years the dish companies have been ripping us off, and after a problem with Dish TV's satellite reception, and they want to charge $95. for a technician to come out and re-aim it, and wait 2-1/2 weeks with no TV, it gave us a chance to experiment and find out what all this streaming is all about. Should have done this years ago. Thank you Roku!!!

Easy setup I had the fire stick on my mom's TV for years, before it went out. I wondered if I could turn her TV into Roku. I saw this on the Walmart website cheaper than the fire stick and purchased it. Setup was fast and easy. It only took me about 10 minutes.

I have a 14-yr-old flat screen, so not a smart TV. The Roku Express was so easy to connect and get up and running - the entire process took about 15 minutes. The hardest part was lifting that heavy old TV off its wall-mount and then putting it back up!

It was bought for an elderly person in his 90s. The roky is very tiny and compact but it does overheat. You can touch it with your fingers and it is hot! I don't know how long it'll last but it did not slow down the Roku. The Roku is fast and was bought so they can use the apps on it.

Worked great when first installed but in time picture became glitching across apps so wasn't able to handle updates for YouTube TV without freezing and getting glitches so I had to update my roku to the 4k stick.

Two of these devices were shipped to my home and were obviously previously used and returned and re-sold as "new." Both boxes had the contents put back in the box wrong, one of them was not even closed, the other had the top of the box torn up and taped back together. When attempting to exchange these in store, I discovered the last few hours the store is open no employee is equipped to handle returns and I was told to come back another day.

I have owned several Roku TV controls and they all had a plug on the remote for ear jack so with earphones one could get volume directly to the ears. For someone with hearing loss this is a Miracle option. Unfortunately this new devise did not. Huge loss for me - retuned.
