Had an older Samsung tv that wouldn't work with apps unless I had an older Roku streamer plugged in. Then that also failed to work without an hdmi cable . This upgraded Roku streamer had the hdmi cable the tv needed to work without the apps again!!

Amazing device for Roku TV
We have always purchased Roku devices for our TVs that don't already have it built-in. And they never disappoint. It is super easy to plug it in, set it up/login to your Roku account, and get to watching TV. We love our Roku devices. I don't hesitate to recommend at all!!

great! roku over Amazon had roku for years in main living room never went out had Amazon in the room and had to replace twice. the remotes are great no fading finally switched rooms to rku

I have an older TV and my wifi router is in another building two units over from me. This thing works great! Of course, Roku has everything I need to watch TV (including live TV) and movies, listen to music, watch YouTube videos, and literally anything I think to try. This box made it easy for me to use on an old TV and it is has a great connection to be able to tether with my WiFi at such a far away distance! It saved me hundreds of dollars as opposed to buying a new smart TV.

The Roku was easy to install. It works great. This is absolutely hands down a must for anyone who is on a budget. There is no longer a reason to pay ridiculous prices to watch TV. I have now gone from paying $250. per month to $17 per month with anything and everything that you could want to watch. There are 2 absolutely free apps, Tubi and Pluto and that is amazing. Also you tube has free shows. So much more to choose from than what we used to have when we were paying for it. Really truly happy with this purchase. I highly recommend Roku.

Easy to Install and Use
My neighbor installed my first ROKU for me about 2 years ago on my living room TV while I was going through cancer treatment. I asked them to come over and help this year after I couldn't get the ROKU remote to work any more on the bedroom TV I was given last year while I was bedridden. I have no idea how old that remote was, but the one in my living room is still working, so I'm thinking they must last at least a few years. It was an easy install and set-up, and this time I was more cognizant of what all was involved. I know I could do it myself now that I'm totally aware of the process.

This product has bad connection. It disconnects all the time it does not stay connected to your Internet. I have been trying for 30 minutes to get it to connect to my Internet. I have no problem with my other Roku devices just this one it also won't go to the homepage if it's not connected to the Internet, I feel like I i should've got a refund because it's not worth it. I would've rather pay the more money to get the better version.

Read all instructions
I do not recommend this because it does not work with the TVs volume on off button or anything you must have the original remote. It's hard enough to keep up with one more remote. Now 2. Not for me at all the inconvenience was all in the remote and that's my fault. I didn't read into further details

WORST SELLER ON WALMART
This is the absolute WORST SELLER on Walmart......I bought 3 of these Rokus in Nov 2025 and only used 1 about 2 weeks ago...,....the Roku constantly loses connection to internet when everything else in my house stays connected.......the remote is absolutely useless and the cheapest one made. I contacted the seller since Roku has a 12 month warranty on it....the seller has NEVER responded and there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many negative reviews about this item........I don't know why Walmart allows this seller to continue selling on their website......Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER or this Roku......u will be nothing but disappointed

Walmart thieves
I received a message package was on the way. I went to the lobby to wait. Someone ( a person that works for Walmart) came from within my building I live in to meet the delivery person and received my package. I saw this and went to retrieve my package.m and asked her why was she accepting my package. She acted like she didn't understand English. Your drivers are stealing peoples packages.
