Roku Premiere | 4K/HDR Streaming Media Player with Premium High Speed HDMI Cable and Simple Remote

STRONGLY RECOMMEND. My sister gave my brother and I one of these for Christmas one year. He and I both forgot about them. Much later, I ended up throwing mine away, but my brother kept his and eventually set it up and used it. This was MY purchase and a gift to myself. Best thing on the planet. Buy it NOW!

Had an older Samsung tv that wouldn't work with apps unless I had an older Roku streamer plugged in. Then that also failed to work without an hdmi cable . This upgraded Roku streamer had the hdmi cable the tv needed to work without the apps again!!

AT%26T/ Direct TV became so expensive that I couldn't just the expense. Roku has plenty of choices and you can add on things you really want like sports packages. YouTube and so many others are on here. No monthly cable bills except for premium channels that you choose.

This item was purchsed to replace my Amazon Fire Stick. The Roku Premium streaming media player not only met my needs but exceeded them. It was full of features that bought my tv viewing to a new level. Like the ability to direct the sound through my blue tooth earbuds connected through my cell-phone. Do not hesitate to purchase this product, you will noy regret it.

The Roku was easy to install. It works great. This is absolutely hands down a must for anyone who is on a budget. There is no longer a reason to pay ridiculous prices to watch TV. I have now gone from paying $250. per month to $17 per month with anything and everything that you could want to watch. There are 2 absolutely free apps, Tubi and Pluto and that is amazing. Also you tube has free shows. So much more to choose from than what we used to have when we were paying for it. Really truly happy with this purchase. I highly recommend Roku.

I do like the interface of this Roku. I don't like the simple remote that's included. It took me a while to figure out how to turn it and the tv off after using it. Still can't control the sound with simple remote that's included.

Was very easy to install, step by step instructions and online help if needed. Only problem I had is picture was in black and white for a few days because I had TV set on component instead of video 2 so once I figured that out got color which is a user error no fault of Roly, lol

Very easy to set up and get going. The only thing I've found wanting in this product is the lack of HBO Max as a choice of streaming service apps in their list. It is a fairly new service offering so maybe a software update in the near future will correct that. Also, the fact that the module has to be in a direct line with the remote control was surprising as well. They do provide an adhesive strip to the device to attach it to the side or bottom of your TV.

This didn't work for me. If you use the USB power from the TV, it will take some time to power up, connect to Wi-Fi, and start. I tried using the wall plug to provide power and had HDCP errors. Bottom line, not worth the hassle. I went back to my old Roku Express 4K.

This item is very small and constantly overheats, even with the AC on. It never shuts off like my older larger 1080 version. I am very happy that I purchased the extended warranty as I believe this unit will fail eventually and I had thrown away the packaging, otherwise I would have returned it and bought the bigger 4k unit. I always unplug it from the power supply when not in use. Hopefully that will extend it's life.
