I'm so so happy with this purchase. The picture comes out so clear and pretty; those little mini-LED backlights are really putting in the work for an affordable price. Whether it's gaming or streaming or watching old shows on DVD, everything looks great. The sound quality is as expected (good, nothing special). And it's easy to set up and use since it's Roku!
This is a great TV! Love the ROKU home page since it can be set exactly how you want it. I was having trouble with the color on high-definition movies but finally realized all I needed to do was set all movies to HDX. That eliminated the dark scene issues. The color and clarity on this TV are incredible.
Best price available online that I could find. Nice TV with straightforward ROKU interface built in. Very pleased with this product.
My VIZIO died right after the insurance expired,so I browsed through TVs under $400. I finally decided to get a Roku TV. Getting it installed was a breeze, but figuring out how to get it set up and running was a hair-pulling chore, trust me. Onto positive things: I must say that the colors and clarity are absolutely amazing! For the first time ever, I saw people's facial pores, blemishes and wrinkles! I must say, this is a very nice TV! And yes, I bought a 5 year insurance plan.
The sound is great but did require adjusting for consistent levels. The picture for some programs is great, but others are not as vivid. it could be because some programs are older, but my previous TV of another brand had an excellent picture for all programming. i did not purchase that brand again because it did not last very long before the backlight went out. I did try the Hisense Roku, but the sound levels for the streaming videos were horrible. The music was extremely loud, and voices were very low even after adjusting sound levels. Overall, this TV by Roku is a good buy on a budget!
Internal Wifi card is very weak causing sync issues with voice and video. Put a TCL brand right next to the Roku brand and it does not have same issues. TCL shows wifi signal as excellent, Roku brand shows as poor and occasionally good. Set is 20 ft away from an Asus RX1800 router
I am a huge Roku fan and have been a user for years. However, this unit has fallen well short of my expectations nations in terms of picture clarity, and also the speed of the device when changing channels or logging into Netflix or other streaming services. Navigation is also very slow. Tried to clear cache, etc., but to no avail.
After using TV first time, it begame to off and on to make a load Humming sound for a few seconds. Then the screen started to Black out when watching . Sometimes it wouldn't let me do anything to bring back picture. I did love the beautiful picture on it though after adjusting. There is a slight rattle inside we could hear when hanging. Unfortunately, this TV has to go back!
The audio video lag can't be adjusted out the lag is about at least a second to 2 seconds and there's no way to eliminate it except for they tell me to reset the set I've done that did not help now the front LED has a two flash sequence which means one of the boards in the sets going bad.
This is the worst basic TV we have ever purchased. It is not worth the price. Limited to none features, not even the bare bones basic such as an option to choose auto on or shut off. You are better off with a Samsung or other brand... any brand is better than this.
