The very best olives! So fresh and delicious! Promptly shipped. Reduce the salt content by simply rinsing them in cold water, if you must. They are wonderful either way. Excellent price for these very special Sicilian, Castle Vetrano Olives!
If you love olives, you will love these! What more can you say? Great value for the quality, quantity vs price
I made Sicilian Cracked Olive Salad with these olives and it turned out wonderful! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great olives and great price
My absolute favorite Italian olive. Hard to find in the large can containers.
I was pleasantly surprised how good these olives are. They are firm and tasty...no complaints. They will last forever as the can is so large but the can fit easily in my refrigerator. I will transfer to a smaller jar when I get through half the can. Such a bargain for the amount you get :) . They are a great, healthy quick snack when you open the frig and looking for something quick to munch on and they are low in calories (each olive only ten calories) as they are in water. They are low in sodium as well.
Castelvetrano are my favorite olives, so mild and buttery-flavored, never overly salty. this is an outstanding buy at this price, compared to paying $9.99/lb or more at a supermarket olive bar. and they keep really well in the fridge in the cannister with plastic lid.
OMGeeeee...... I super love these olives they are the best seriously if you are looking for some great tasting olives get Castelvetrano in Roland or Mezzetta brand all other brands I have tried are way more saltier than these 2 LOVE IT!!
I usually buy these in the whole over or with pits can, same brand, same size. Decided to try pitted this time, 2 cans. Not sure why but they do not taste the same as the once with pits. there is a not so great after taste, both cans were the same. If you rinse them in cold water to wash off the liquid they come it it is better but still not like the whole olive version. i need to order a new can with pits and compare the contents. maybe a different preservative is in the water in the pitted ones that causes this taste difference.
After ordering several of the same olives & same brand WITH THE PIT included these don't hold a candle to them. The quality & flavor are exact opposite - they don't even taste like the same olive even though they are the same only difference is there is no pit - So we will wait for the olives with the pit to be back in stock for sure - family anxiously waiting LOL
