This product has been around for decades, and for good reason: it tastes great, definitely not healthy but as everyone knows, anything that's healthy tastes bad. You can eat them plain or with french onion dip, of the type usually used for potato chips. I recommend Dean's brand, not the Walmart store brand. Pretzels are addictive. You could eat the whole bag, then have a hypertensive event, so don't do that. Put a handfull on a plate and limit yourself to that. Great with beer.
I haven't eaten these pretzels for years and was happy to find that they haven't changed. Exactly the same and I still love them for a quick snack or when I want something salty, but not too salty. I like that they are small and easy to eat. I don't care for pretzels that are heavy and too big. Just grab a handful and go. Also, the crunch is just right. Price is right also. It would be nice if the bag had some kind of zip top, but I can always put them in a baggie.
I like Old Dutch spindles butter flavor and Snyder's sticks but Rold Gold wins the Gold Medal! It's all about that crisp. Perfect snack; dip in JIF natural creamy first, then dip in Nutella! The best, like little candy bars. FYI, Walmart Great Value sells hazelnut spread w/ cocoa, same ingredients as Nutella at half the price!
These Rold Gold pretzels are my husband's favorite snack, and he requests this specific brand and shape. These pretzels are crispy, fresh, and the stick shape holds really well, with hardly any pretzels arriving broken in the bag. I love that Walmart ships these pretzels, too. I use them with dips, hummus, or just as a plain snack. These are great for taking on trips or in the car, too, as they won't melt in the summer heat.
I love eating these as a notice fat option for a snack. The amount of pretzels per bag is a great deal. They last for at least a week per serving size. I love the crunch and just the right amount of salty.
These pretzels are a perfect snack, but at times, this brand has 2 or more stuck together and can wreak havoc on your teeth if you are not careful biting down on the hard-to-chew snack food.
These pretzel sticks were a letdown. They're very hard, overly salty, and so thin that they don't really have that satisfying crunch you'd expect. On top of that, a bunch of them were stuck together in clumps, which made them even less enjoyable to eat. Honestly, the twist-style pretzels are way better than these sticks. The twists have more flavor, better texture, and don't fall apart or stick together like this. I definitely won't be grabbing the sticks again.
I have been snacking on Rold Gold Pretzel Sticks for the last year. Over the past three months, every bag I bought across multiple stores including several Walmarts in Phoenix has been over baked, extremely hard and crunchy. They are uncomfortable to eat and the quality is not what it used to be.
They keep sending me the wrong style pretzels that I order because whoever is picking out the items is too lazy to reach to the top shelf above where they keep these to get the proper ones. So if you could address that I would appreciate it. Thank you.
This review is for Walmart, not this product. For the love of all that's good in the world, please stop forcing a message every time I log in or open the app. I have to navigate to messages every single time, just to dismiss the message to make sure it's not important. It's always "spam" such as asking me to review pretzels or some other basic commodity. No one else does this. Please stop.
