v. happy with it
I am a beginner and I don't know much about skating, but I could notice a big difference between these skates and the ones I always rented at the skate rink. These are much better and they gave me the confidence to try new tricks that I never thought I could do before. I got the size 9, they fit me perfectly and it makes a big difference as they stay tight on my foot

Awesome for the price!!
I really like how snug they are. The size was perfect for myfeet and I was afraid they would be too small. These are so comfortable too. I appreciate the inclusion of a heel brake as Im a beginner and I will definitely need them. Would highly recommend.

run small in size
They run small in size. I ordered size 5 in mens. i was thinking my 13 boy and i would be able to fit it. i wear a size 7 in womens, I fit 5.5-6y in boy shoes at academy.. i returned the size 5 skates an ordered size 6 but they are perfect fit. i would ideally go up one more size if i could. but i don't want to do another return.. other than that they are great skates! they feel super smooth and fast! on a side walk i haven't taken them to the skating rink yet.

Brought them for my 12 year old and said they were comfortable. The lace up and two straps made it easy to tighten and loosen. So my older son brought a pair and wasn't so good. One of the skates were defected the shoe part wasn't straight standing on it. It went inwards so we had to return them. Very disappointing one pair was great and the other pair was defective.

a protrusion of metal within the skate dug into my foot while i was 3 miles into my skating trip. my first time using them and ended with a bloody ankle.

Defective items are not “budget friendly”
Defective, wheels on right skate was bent before first use. Attempted to use anyways because didn't seem to be too too bad. During use the protective strap that holds your foot in the skate broke and was almost impossible to skate due to the bent skate. Have tried many skates over the years and this “budget friendly” set isn't worth your money. Summary: Defective items. Better to save up for a better pair of skates. Going back to order my regular pair I've used for years again instead of these.
