I used these tortillas to make green chili chicken with cheese enchiladas. I typically use another brand, that tends to fall apart after I bake them. I used this brand because it was available in store, and they held up way better than others. I absolutely fell in love and will be using them again for my dishes that consist tortilla.
I grew up eatng Guerrero tortillas but ever since buying and trying these yellow corn tortillas I am a fan of Romero's tortillas. I enjoy the taste and how fresh they are when warmed up. They make great quesadillas. Totally recommend.
Over all Romero corn tortillas are great. no more soggy tacos! They stay strong as well as being tender, tasty, and last in the refrigerator, while keeping their texture and flavor.
These are the best corn tortillas I've ever bought. They are slightly thicker than others I've used. They held up perfectly for frying and rolling enchiladas. I can tell they'll be great for tacos too. No breakage at all, great flavor.
Yellow corn is where it's at but I hope Walmart comes out with a few more varieties of yellow corn, purple corn red corn but white tortillas taste like bleach paper napkins
Has to be heated or fried..or will crumble when folded. First time I tried them hoping for whole grain alternative. Wish they were offered in a smaller quantity.. although I assume you can freeze some for later.
Got wrong size. I usually get regular size. Didn't make to make as many tacos as normal. Should have purchased these when grandkids where small
I thought I'd like these yellow corn tortillas better but I've always chosen the white corn. The yellow has an tendency to crack when I'm making tacos when I cook them to one side and fold them over they crack so I usually have to cook both sides and then fold But it's just my preference so no pun intended.
These were hard not fresh, ripped apart cracked pieces apart and the ones I was able to just make somewhat of a casserole instead. The flavor was awful like the taste of rawness or refrigerator or something. Was for rolled enchiladas. Don't buy this brand folks.
Less than a week left on expiration date when I bought them. Didn't notice until after I brought them home.
