Great setup and our family loves it. Our grill was on the fritz and we needed a break from gas grills. For as unoften as we grill out, this works for us. Kids love to roast marshmallows, or just nice to have outside to relax in the evening. The design allows for great oxygen flow to the wood. Once it gets going, dont have to hardly tend it.

Decent fire pit for the money
The fire pit is good. Not sure how long it's going to last with thin material, but it was perfect for bringing to the campgrounds that don't supply them. I just wish Walmart would make it obvious that it is coming from a 3rd party seller online. It said 2 day shipping and it arrived 4 days late. Luckily we had delayed our trip a day later so we got it just in time. I did use the cooking grate to make steaks on it and it worked great.
