This manual edger was in the middle of the price range. We didn't want a super cheap one but not the most expensive. I was a bit skeptical that we would like it. My son has been the one using it, and his assessment is that it works well! Edging with a manuall edger is hard work, regardless. But this one does a good job, and stands up to a thick grass and uneven sidewalks.

As I get older, the weed eater is harder for me to manage so I thought I would try this knowing I could return it if it didn't work out. It takes a little to get used to but it's been great.

i found the all metal handle a good thing to grasp and the ease of cutting into grass along sidewalk and driveway was fairly easy. it also was anle to cut grass and weeds from between sidewalk slabs. it was well worth the money.

it works really well. I thought that spring load feature may be poor quality but it's great on uneven concrete. i researched alot before purchase am am happy. Can't speak to how long it lasts, tbd. Also, metal handle is light weight and comfortable, unlike some heavier wood ones.

It works great, took a little-while to get the gist of how it works. Once I got it on the go it was effortless. Make sure the wheel is on the grass and the edger is cutting the opposite direction. Some areas on the grass settle more and there will be more dirt, other areas are easy and it is straight grass. Overall, it's a good workout and is a good tool, takes a little elbow grease. You'll love it.

So i thought i was buying something with an adjustable handle? So no not as any normal person would think — this has like four screw in parts of the handle, if you want it shorter you need to remove the center extenders. The piece the holds the tool is required and the end which has the cap is requited the middle isn't. So its not adjustable it can be reassembled with or without extensions. The tool is heavy so you get more of a workout than is necessary! It does keep coming unscrewed too so i spend a lot of time tightening it. Overall it does an average job with a lot of effort. Not sure id recommend it to any female!

After using this edger several times, I have mixed feelings about it. The positives include how lightweight it is and the ease of putting it together. I do wish that the blade was sharper and more heavy duty, which would make it easier to cut through tough weeds. I'm going to see if I can get the blade sharpened. It takes a lot of effort, but when this is accomplished, the edging looks nice. It is a good value for what you get. I would recommend it for those who are strong, don't mind hard work, and don't have a large area to edge.

I read the reviews before purchase. I thought it would be easy to use. My husband said it works so-so, but good enough to not wasting time returning. But I'm definitely not strong enough to plow through the edging.

Doesn't roll are cut easily.
