works accordingly sat as well chisels well does numerous other things well it's a good multi-purpose torch very strong if needed you can also turn it down to where it's very very gentle for the size of it and it's very sturdy on its base all around really good torch

so I was skeptical about buying the torch from Walmart seeing how they're just a large retailer but it turned out to be actually a very nice torch works well strong flame comes with adapters couldn't be happier with the purchase I'd say all in all pretty decent Best delivery cheap price thank you

So as a person who has had many different type of torches. All the different ones that Walmart has carried along with Lowe's and home Depot and Menards. I was a fan of the tech torch which is I guess is the older version of this but it did have its drawbacks just as much as any other torch out there. I like the idea that the accessories are contained in the base which is awesome because you can't lose them that way. and the heat gun attachment is superior I will give it that the soldering attachment is still lackluster because there's no way to control the temperature at all it's either really hot or not. and the tip gets dirty very easily so the solder does not want to stick to it when trying to tin the tip. but other than that so far it has lit every single time that I've clicked the button but with that being said I don't like how it lights. you have to turn the knob on the top of it to turn the fuel on and then click the igniter which afterward this torch is on and it is dangerous because the front of it is fairly heavy even with that big plastic base that it comes with you might find yourself knocking it over very easily and like I said it is still on there is no momentary actuation like other torches where you hit the button it comes on you release the button it goes off. no this one has a knob on the top of it which is actually kind of hard to turn sometimes you have to push it in and turn it and you have to do the opposite to shut the torch off and you have to make sure that you turn it all the way. I am a fan of the design and Ronson has stepped up their game but they still have not completely got this one figured out. still not sure if it's worth 50 bucks but time will tell. if it was 30 bucks I would definitely feel much better about it that's for sure.

I brought this for creme brûlées and it does not get hot! At all!

This worked well the first two times I used it. Then the lighter went out. I have to use a separate lighter to get a flame to start from the gas. I do like that you don't have to hold the button down the whole time. I also wish I could see how much gas was left and when it's full when refilling.

i ordered via delivery. item arrived with spiderwrap security device still attached. i havent gotten to use it but suggest other customers make sure the security device has been removed before your driver leaves.
