I got for my cousin for her new born baby. She likes this thermometer so much as it checks the temperature immediately and keeps on re-checking every 10 seconds which is so helpful. And it also auto shut off. Worth in buying it.
Love this product I love the fact it tests the water temp every 10 seconds
I bought a few in the past and this one is the best so far (see the pictures) Thr aquatopia is good too but not as great as this cocodrile. And the whale... well we keep it beacuse it is cute , not at all for its performance. I am impressed with this Dreambaby cocodrile bath thermometer. A faster accurate temperature every time and so cute! It will be my favorite for baby showers gifts.
Works great. My kids love it! I like the fact that I do not have to worry about their bath water being too hot. Reads the temperature accurately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Room and Bath thermometer was great. The duck did the trick to keep my child playing in the tub. I would so buy this for my friends and family. I am sure they will appreciate a toy/thermometer. It was really helpful with knowing the temp of the water. Thank you for making such a wonderful product, baby friendly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This duck thermometer is great. It floats just like a rubber duck and is activated by water. It has the ability to be turned on manually for a room temp with an auto shutoff function to save battery power. I find it is easy to read and it is accurate. I use it for every one of my kids bath as an extra piece of mind. Before this we just used our hand to gauge temp and that works, but this is a much better method. I like that it has the appeal of a toy, but the function of thermometer for assurance and peace of mind. It's water tight and unlike a rubber duck there's really no concern for it growing mold or anything inside of it. What I didn't like was the light that flashes to let you know if it's hot or cold. This is set to preset parameters which they allow you to change. The problem I have is the colors and lack of color when safe. It flashes green when it is too cold and flashes red when it is too warm. There is no indication when it is in the safe range. I would much prefer a three-color indication. Blue=cold, green=safe, and red=too hot. This is the only thing I have found with this device I did not like. Otherwise, I love it and its amazing.
It was good while it lasted. Owned it for 3-4 years. My preferred water temp is around 90 deg., and my child is fine with it. Itâll flash green i think around 85 F (which to me 88 is already too cold..). Then i think around 95 it flashes red? But verify with the specs/details.. It floats well. We had a baby tub with a built in temp reader, and they read pretty much the same, so this one seems accurate. What i dislike is there isnt any sound. It tends to be flipped over because child plays with it; not to mention thereâs usually bubbles.. so the screen or light isnt always visible. At some point the screen/clear protector got cracked. Probably was stepped on.. After a while it started to retain moisture in the display, which never evaporated on itâs own. Canât recall how long, but eventually it stopped working, so i went to replace the batteries (only the second time). I opened it to find a bit of rusty/brown water inside, under the battery cover. I assume water leaked in slowly from the top crack, but slight chance the gasket for the battery cover wore out. I didnt want to risk any battery acid or other components leaking chemicals into the bath, but I didnât want to completely trash it either. I ended up gutting it, and itâs still enjoyed as a regular bath toy now :) I believe this would have lasted longer if the screen didnât break. Will be replacing it, but this time opting for one with sound. Hope that helps anyone reading!
got this little guy to use with my newborn son. it's very cute and worked great, until it died. it really only lasted about a month. I haven't had time to get a replacement battery for it. when it worked, I give it five stars. I took one off because it didn't last very long. disappointing!
We purchased this item because I can't feel temperature of water and wanted to make sure our daughter was safe while bathing but it is off by 10 degrees. We have used a separate thermometer to test the accuracy of the gator one.
Very cute and arrived on time, but would not turn on. Instructions said would turn on automatically in water or could push the power button, but it would not turn on at all. We even checked the batteries. Ended up returning it but plan to order another and are hoping the replacement will work.
